Day Shift November 20
24-014705 – 1500 BLK Maxwell – Theft – Police spoke with a reporting party at ERPD who said her bank fraud department notified her that a check had been altered and cashed. She told police she placed a check for $35.59 into the exterior mailbox at the post office on Maxwell Road a month ago. The check was altered for $1,800 and cashed. No suspect information currently.
24-014713 – 1517 Tombras Avenue – Indecent Exposure – Police responded to the dog park after receiving a call an intoxicated female was not wearing pants. Officers observed a female matching the description; however, it was quickly discovered the female was wearing shorts partially covered by a sweater. No signs of intoxication were observed.
24-014714 – 1300 BLK San Hsi Drive – Burglary in Progress – A homeowner reported seeing two males breaking into her home through her security camera. On arrival, police found no males matching the description nor any signs of forced entry.
24-014695 – 5300 BLK Clemons Road– Domestic Assault – Police responded to investigate an assault which occurred on East Brainerd Road. CPD responded to complete their investigation.
24-014712 – 1600 BLK Glowmont Drive – Burglary / Vandalism – The owner of the duplex under renovation stated sometime between 11/14/2024 and 11/20/2024, party(s) unknown kicked the doors in on both sides of this duplex and entered, damaging both doors and the casings. The burglar used a can of spray paint to write expletives on two of the walls.
Night Shift November 20
24-014724 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder with a Weapon – A man reported a road rage incident involving an unidentified male in a black Dodge Ram. He stated he was traveling near Mack Smith Road when he changed lanes in front of the Dodge pick-up. He further alleged the driver of the truck aggressively followed him for several minutes and at one point brandished a handgun. Police checked the area but did not locate the suspect or his vehicle.
24-014727 – 3100 BLK Ringgold Rd – Hit and Run – Police responded to a crash with unknown injuries in the Bachman Tunnels and located a heavily damaged 2009 Honda motorcycle. Upon further investigation, police determined the motorcycle hit the tunnel wall and the driver had fled the scene. Officers also found a handgun near the crash site. Police contacted that last registered owner of the motorcycle and found he sold the vehicle three years ago. Charges are pending the identification of the vehicle operator.
