Day Shift November 8
24-014207 – 10 BLK Edwards Terrace – Theft – Police spoke with a party in the East Ridge Police Department lobby regarding a theft and an ongoing issue with their neighbor. The theft had already been reported to police by the survey company. The officer advised the RP that the other issues were civil between them and their neighbor.
24-014212 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder/Arrest – A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after causing a scene in the ER and becoming aggressive with Police and Hospital. He was cleared by medical staff and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-014213 – 1400 BLK McBrien Road – Auto Theft – Police responded to this address for an auto theft report. Officers spoke with the victim who stated that his truck was stolen from this address around 1300 hours today. He said he left the keys inside before and had never had an issue until today. The vehicle, a 2018 white Dodge Ram 1500 with black 24’’ wheels, Georgia Bulldog sticker on the back window, bearing a Tennessee tag was listed into NCIC and as a hot plate in the LPR system.
24-014219 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Delayed Property Damage – Police responded to this address to speak with a subject and take a report for property damage. He alleged that on 11/2 around 2100 hours he was doing laundry when a tan or white SUV pulled in beside his vehicle in the parking lot and three children continuously hit the side of his vehicle with their door causing damage. The business requires a report to pull the CCTV footage.
Night Shift November 8
24-014232-3600 BLK Ida Belle Lane-Traffic Stop/DUI Arrest – Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing it failed to maintain its lane. After investigating, the driver was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, violating open container laws, and failing to maintain his lane. While at the jail, the police discovered that this would be the man’s third DUI offense in East Ridge within the year.
Day Shift November 9
24-014246 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft/ Warrant Arrest – Officers responded to a theft in progress. Upon arrival, the suspects fled the scene. Officers located the suspect vehicle heading towards Spring Creek Rd and North Terrace. ERPD conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and ordered the two occupants out. One was found to have a warrant out of Hamilton County for theft. She was taken into custody and transported to jail without incident. The suspect admitted to taking the items and was issued a citation and released. All stolen goods were recovered and returned.
24-014268 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – License Plate Reader Hit – Police initiated a stop on a vehicle, occupied by four people flagged by an LPR hit for tag issues. One was confirmed to have an active warrant, was arrested, and transported to Hamilton County Jail. Before backup arrived, a woman fled the scene and was later found to have felony warrants from Catoosa County. The remaining two subjects were not wanted and were allowed to leave on foot. The vehicle’s tag was seized and logged into property.
Night Shift November 9
24-014273 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – An off-duty police officer observed a male shoplifting at the store. When confronted, the suspect removed a bottle of malt liquor from his pants, gave it to the officer and fled the scene in a silver Buick. Management will review surveillance and advise PD on prosecuting the crime.
24-014278 – 5600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/DUI Arrest – A man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and light law violation following a traffic stop. While at jail he refused to consent to a blood draw resulting in the additional charge of implied consent violation.
Day Shift November 10
24-014297 – 2000 BLK Tombras Avenue – Vehicle Crash/Arrest – A man was arrested and transported to Hamilton County Jail for reckless driving, driving without a license, operating an unregistered vehicle, and failure to show financial responsibility.
24-014299 – 3600 BLK Wimberly Lane – Disorder/Arrest – Police responded to a disorder involving a man who refused to leave the property. He was found to have an active warrant for reckless endangerment. He resisted arrest, damaged a patrol car window during transport. The subject was charged with resisting arrest, vandalism, and escape, along with the warrant.
24-014304 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Miscellaneous – A stolen weapon from 31 years ago was flagged by the TBI. The weapon was taken by police and placed into evidence pending verification from Jackson County, Alabama.
24-014309 – 3600 BLK Bennet Road – Warrant Service – A woman was arrested at the listed location on a warrant for child neglect. She was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift November 10
24-014328 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – While patrolling the hotels, police encountered a man sitting in the parking lot. He told the officer he was trying to get to Atlanta, GA for surgery on his hand but missed his Greyhound bus in Cleveland, TN. He cooperated with the police and was negative for warrants. Officers recorded the encounter with a Field Interview.
Day Shift November 11
24-014349- 3200 BLK Old Ringgold Road- Delayed Auto Theft – The victim reported that a vehicle was taken from their dealership lot sometime over the weekend. A search of the VIN revealed that Chattanooga had an incident with the vehicle on 11/10/24. The party in possession of the vehicle was identified. The vehicle was added into NCIC as stolen and a follow with Chattanooga is pending.
24-014341 – 200 BLK South Crest Drive – Assist CPD – ERPD assisted CPD in locating a stolen vehicle and a subsequent short foot pursuit. Officers apprehended the suspect.
24-014354 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road– Theft – The manager stated a customer had left her a generous tip of approximately $15 in the tip jar. She later observed the money was not in the tip jar. Upon checking the surveillance video, it was determined at 1357 hours a “Door Dasher” reached into the tip jar and placed the bills in the right pocket of her white hoodie. The suspect is a young brunette female.
24-014356 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Criminal Trespass – A person who had been previously criminally trespassed from the premises for aggressive panhandling and disturbing clientele, mostly of pregnant women, was found on the grounds and arrested for Criminal Trespassing.
24-014348 – 1400 Adonna Lane – Disorder – An anonymous caller reported a couple arguing in this area. As police were arriving on scene, both the male and female took off running. Officers located the female hiding inside a residence and identified her. She was found to have a warrant out of Walker County. The male was never found, and the woman was uncooperative in identifying him.
24-014343 – 1100 BLK McBrien Road – Theft from Vehicle – Police responded to McBrien Road to investigate multiple vehicle break-ins. Police spoke with a resident who said at approximately 0233 hours this morning a male attempted to make entry into her vehicles. She also said her neighbors’ vehicles were targeted. One neighbor told police he had a purple bag containing approximately $30 worth of loose change stolen from his unlocked truck. Surveillance footage was shared with police.
24-014347 – 700 BLK Marlboro Avenue – Theft from Vehicle – Police spoke with the resident of this address who wanted to report a vehicle break in. The resident told police she left her SUV unlocked. Between Saturday 1630 hours and this morning her unlocked vehicle was accessed by an unknown person. The vehicle was ransacked, but nothing was reportedly missing from the vehicle.
24-014350 – 3600 BLK Claremont Avenue – Stolen Vehicle / Warrant Service – Police responded to this residence to file a stolen vehicle report. The caller advised that his White Land Rover was stolen between Sunday 2300 and Monday 0400. Police learned that the reporting party had an active warrant through Collegedale. He was taken into custody and transported to jail without incident.
Night Shift November 11
24-014349 – 3200 BLK Ringgold Road – Stolen Vehicle Recovery – The Chattanooga Police Department recovered a Ford Explorer stolen from a dealership in East Ridge. The vehicle was located on 1900 Mulberry Street and was towed from the scene. The vehicle was removed from NCIC.
24-014350 – 3600 BLK Claremont Avenue – Stolen Vehicle Recovery – The Chattanooga Police Department recovered a 2013 Land Rover LR2 stolen from Claremont Ave. The vehicle was located on Dodson Ave and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
24-014360 – 3900 BLK Brainerd Road – Warrant Service – Following a traffic stop, Chattanooga Police Officers determined that a subject had an active Alias Capias through the City of East Ridge. ERPD responded to the location and transported the party to the Hamilton County Jail. The original charge for the Alias Capias was Driving on a Revoked License.
24-014374 – I-24 Westbound – Assist Other Agency – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody for active warrants through Hamilton County. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
