Day Shift October 9
24-012961 – 100 BLK Cecil Lane – Disorder – The caller reported a fellow resident of his apartments started following him after a traffic miscommunication in the parking lot. The caller stated a male party in a black Dodge Charger verbalized slurs at him and then followed him for a considerable distance after a confrontation. The complainant requested documentation of the verbal disorder in case of future harassment from the party.
24-012968 – 6900 BLK Glen Errol Way – Domestic Assault – A man was arrested for domestic assault after he assaulted his mother.
24-012975 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Theft in Progress – A man was observed by Bass Pro Loss Prevention concealing merchandise. Police approached subject who handed over the stolen goods and attempted to flee. He was taken into custody. Police transported him to Camp Jordan ER for evaluation. The suspect was cleared by medical personal and transported to Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
Night Shift October 9
24-013006 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Rd – DUI/Arrest – An off-duty police officer observed a blue truck driving recklessly around San Hsi Drive and Ringgold Road. Police located the vehicle at a gas station on Ringgold Road. The driver was identified and found to have a strong odor of alcoholic beverage about his person. The man was arrested and charged with DUI and Driving Without a License.
24-012883- 1400 BLK N. Mack Smith Street – Vandalism – A security guard reported an unknown suspect broke into the storage unit on the northwest side of the building. A padlock was broken off and a door was left partially open. The security guard reported nothing missing but stated a male and female were hanging out in the area earlier that day. Police checked the area throughout the evening, but nothing was located.
24-013001- 6600 BLK Hilton Drive – Disorder – Police responded to a disorder at this residence and located an intoxicated male in the driveway. The male was identified and was found to be an ex-employee of the homeowner. The homeowner stated that he entered his residence without permission, yelling and cursing at him. Police then spoke with the suspect and observed a heavy odor of an alcoholic beverage. The man was taken into custody and charged with Public Intoxication and Criminal Trespassing.
