Day Shift October 4
24-012729 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Intoxicated Person – An anonymous citizen reported seeing a heavyset male, unconscious, on the side of the road. He was located at Camp Jordan Parkway and US41 North, attempting to stand. The man appeared highly intoxicated, had slurred speech, unable to stand and was bleeding from the head with a large hematoma over his right eye. He was transported for treatment.
24-012736 – 700 BLK Frawley Road– Vandalism – The victim’s vehicle cover was vandalized sometime during the night, by party(s) unknown.
24-012748 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police were called to investigate a shirtless, shoeless man walking around the sidewalk. Officers contacted the man who said he just finished running and was waiting for a ride. The business requested he leave the area. He was checked for warrants and sent on his way.
24-012746 – 1400 BLK Millbro Circle – Auto Theft – The caller reported the theft of his black, 2016 Suzuki GSXR sometime in the night by his brother in-law. He stated the man had spent the night with him and must have taken the keys from his jacket pocket. The motorcycle was entered into NCIC V806417061.
Night Shift October 4
24-012765 / 24-012782 – 6100 BLK Wentworth Avenue – Burglary and Assault / Arrest – A woman was taken into custody for Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Assault after she entered the residence at this location and assaulted the resident. The suspect stated she was looking for her ex-boyfriend and entered the residence without permission. The suspect was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
24-012767 / 24-012781 – 5500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrests – Police conducted a traffic stop with a maroon Ford Fusion for to a registration violation. The driver was arrested for DUI following Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. The passenger was arrested for Possession of Schedule II drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-012780 – 5400 BLK Connell Street – Shots Fired – Police responded to reports of gunshots in the area. Officers observed several subjects walking in the roadway. Police approached the individuals who immediately became irate and uncooperative. Officers also observed the odor of Marijuana on the individuals, and one subject was found to have a backpack. The party was identified, and police located a single Glock magazine in his backpack. No other evidence of a shooting was found.
24-012752 – 6500 BLK Garner St – Domestic Assault / Arrest – Police responded to an assault at this address. Upon further investigation, police determined that a woman had punched, kicked, and choked another female. Due to the nature of their relationship, she was arrested and charged with Aggravated Domestic Assault and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
No Case Number – 800 BLK McHann Rd – Assist Other Agency – The Chattanooga Police Department requested assistance in locating a 19-year-old. She is a suspect in an aggravated assault in Chattanooga and has several active warrants. East Ridge Police checked the last known residence, but she was not located.
Day Shift October 5
24-012796 – 5300 BLK Stone Street – Animal Call – Officers assisted East Ridge Animal Shelter staff explain to a subject from Hixson they could not take her dog. The party had rescued the dog from McKamey in Chattanooga, and they refused to allow her to return it.
Night Shift October 5
24-012824 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Rd – DUI / Arrest – Police observed a black Acura MDX driving erratically and initiated a traffic stop. Police found the driver to be highly intoxicated. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted, and the subject was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. Police then determined that his juvenile son had been left unsupervised in a hotel room. The juvenile was secured by police and a DCS interview was conducted. The juvenile was later released to his mother who drove up from Atlanta, GA.
Day Shift October 6
24-012841 – 5300 BLK Rose Street – Disorder/Arrest – A man was taken into custody on warrants for domestic assault out of Hamilton County after officers responded to this address in reference to a disorder.
24-012847 – 200 BLK Eads Street – Miscellaneous Complaint – A tenant had been involved in an ongoing feud with her upstairs neighbors regarding excessive noise. She was concerned about her neighbor taking pictures of her car and requested a report in case her neighbor damaged her vehicle. Police advised her we do not investigate future crimes, and she should contact the manager’s office to file her grievance.
Night Shift October 6
24-012854 – 5500 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Domestic Assault – Police responded to a domestic disorder at this address. Officers located an intoxicated male, covered in blood, laying at the edge of the driveway. The male refused to comply with police commands and was taken into custody. The male was identified as a resident of the home. Police found that he broke through a glass door of the home while arguing with his girlfriend. He then assaulted her inside the home. The man was transported by EMS for treatment of his self-inflicted injuries. Arrest warrants were obtained for the following charges: Domestic Assault, Resisting Arrest, Public Intoxication, and Disorderly Conduct.
24-012863 – 3700 BLK Bennett Road – DUI / Arrest- Police located a vehicle partially parked in the roadway with a female slumped over the steering wheel. Officers approached vehicle and identified the driver. Following Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, she was arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-012855 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop / Arrest – A white Nissan Altima came close to hitting a patrol vehicle and a traffic stop was initiated. During the traffic stop, K9 Quest alerted to the presence of narcotics and a probable cause search revealed illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale, Possession of Xanax for Resale, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and traffic charges.
Day Shift October 7
24-012867 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road– Disorder – Police responded to a domestic dispute. One subject had a verified warrant for Hit and Run from Catoosa County and was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift October 7
24-012902 – 6300 BLK Ringgold Road- DUI – A woman left the scene of a crash in the parking lot. A witness followed him to a nearby business where police located the suspect inside the restaurant. The driver admitted to driving under the influence and leaving after striking another car. She consented to blood draw and was charged with DUI and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
24-012911 – 800 BLK Pointdexter Avenue – Disorder – A caller reported hearing a male in the basement of the residents yelling. Upon police arrival the located a male in the driveway extremely irate and yelling. After a brief investigation police determined the male was a mental health consumer. The man was instructed to go back inside and lay down for the evening.
24-012914 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to the hotel for suspicious activity. The reporting party stated three vehicle alarms had gone off in 20 minutes. Additionally, the reporting party stated he heard someone jump the fence behind the hotel. Police checked the area and did not locate any suspicious persons. Additionally, officers did not observe any damage to vehicles in the parking lot.
