Day Shift October 2
24-012643 – 1500 BLK Karwill Lane– Noise complaint – Police were dispatched to the listed address on a noise complaint and located the apartment the loud music was coming from. The residents agreed to turn the music down without any issue.
Night Shift October 2
24-012645 – 1517 Tombras Avenue – Suspicious Person – A woman was trespassed from the dog park behind East Ridge City Hall today after an altercation involving her dogs and a verbal disagreement with others attending the park.
24-012665 – 1500 BLK Karwill Lane – Domestic Disorder – Police responded to a reported domestic disorder after a neighbor reported hearing a fight in the apartment next door. Police observed a hole in a bedroom door and a bloody knuckle on one of the residents. After interviewing both parties involved and the witness, police did not find any evidence that a physical assault had occurred.
24-012668-6300 BLK Block of Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police were approached by a man regarding a concern he had about his mother. The party told police he believed his sister’s boyfriend lived an alternative lifestyle and he did not trust him around his mother. He further exclaimed he believed his mother was being brainwashed using hypnosis. Upon further questioning it was found the woman did not even live in the city of East Ridge and the RP was advised to contact the corresponding agency for his mother’s residence and have a well-being check done.
24-012672 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – The same party from the report above was trespassed from a restaurant after making discriminatory remarks to staff and customers.
24-012673 – 1300 BLK Greens Lake Road – Traffic Stop/ Warrant Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on a gold Chevrolet Malibu. During the stop, the driver was identified and found to have an active warrant through East Ridge. The subject was arrested for Petition to Revoke (Possession of Controlled Substance).
NA – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Field Interview – After observing a white Malibu with plates that belonged on a black Dodge officers got out with the vehicle at the listed location. The driver was identified and stated that she could not afford new plates and switched them with another vehicle. She said her temp tag was in her trunk and allowed officers to open it. While looking for the truck latch officers located two baggies with a small amount of marijuana.
