Day Shift September 27
24-012419, 24-012424,24-012425 – 5000 BLK S Terrace – Domestic Assault – Officers responded to the AMC Theater after ERFD observed two parties in a verbal disorder and was subsequently flagged down by a female party. Upon further investigation a man had fled the scene prior to police arrival. Warrants are pending for domestic assault and vandalism. The female was allowed to leave the scene after receiving a ride from her mother. ERPD Officers were notified by Red Bank Police Officers of both females having conditions of release against them. Warrants are pending for both female parties.
24-012437 – 1500 BLK Rugby Place – Mentally Disturbed – A man was reported with suicidal ideation, armed with three long guns. He was last seen in a white Chevrolet van.
24-012438 – 5300 BLK Greenbriar Road – Property Call – While investigating a property call, police found a party in possession of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Dabb and Paraphernalia. The evidence was seized and placed in Property.
Night Shift September 27
24-012447 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road-Unconscious Person/Arrest – A woman found asleep at the gas pumps was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of Sch I for resale, possession of sch IV for resale, possession of fentanyl, possession of schedule II, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
24-012449 – 4300 BLK Bennett Road – Suspicious Person – Police conducted additional patrols of East Ridge High School after a school janitor reported seeing trespassers on the property. The School Resources Officer provided video surveillance of three teens wearing hoodies observed walking towards the school. No parties were located.
24-012452-3400 BLK Ringgold Road/Traffic Stop/DUI Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after it was seen without its taillights activated. After investigation, a woman was placed into custody for driving under the influence and light law violation.
24-012454-4200 BLK Ringgold Road-DUI Arrest – During a business check employees informed police that a male was intoxicated. They needed assistance having the intoxicated male leave the premises. After being told to get a ride by police the intoxicated man got into his vehicle and attempted to drive away. He was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and driving without a license.
24-012459 – 700 BLK Germantown Gardens – Suspicious Activity – The reporting party stated that while walking to her car, she saw two males checking the door handles. She stated one male was wearing a light sweatshirt and one was wearing a dark sweatshirt. The witness advised they got into a car and drove off once they saw her. The suspects were gone once police arrived on scene.
Day Shift September 28
24-012476 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive– Theft-Shoplifting – Loss Prevention called reporting shoplifters leaving the business with merchandise. Police stopped the vehicle. Two men were arrested and booked on Theft of Property-Conduct Involving Merchandise while three additional suspects were issued misdemeanor citations for Criminal Conspiracy.
24-012477 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive– Suspect Located – Loss Prevention notified police of an individuals who were involved in prior shoplifting case. The individuals were transported to Hamilton County Jail on charges, one on Hamilton County warrants and the other on an East Ridge warrant.
Night Shift September 28
24-012495-3100 BLK Ringgold Rd.-Traffic Stop/Arrest – An officer observed a vehicle traveling west bound on Ringgold Road with no headlights. Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle refused to stop. The vehicle continued to evade and came to a stop at the driver’s residence on Dodds Avenue. The driver then exited the vehicle and began running on foot. Police quickly apprehended the suspect, and he was taken into custody.
24-012489 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest –Police observed a man jaywalking in the 6500 block of Ringgold Road. He was found to have a warrant out of Catoosa County. The party was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without issue.
Day Shift September 29
24-012519 – 800 BLK Poindexter Avenue – Unknown Trouble – Police dispatched for an unknown 911 from a 911 only phone with Phase II location (this approximates location based on cellular signal). The front door was found unsecured. The door was not able to be secured, and no one was home.
Night Shift September 29
24-012521 – 4100 BLK Monroe Street – Intoxicated Party – Police responded to an intoxicated party at the fuel station after employees observed suspicious behavior. The man was issued a misdemeanor citation for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after police discovered a pipe with drug residue in his vehicle. A responsible party was notified and provided him with transportation home.
24-012535-6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder – Police observed a man unconscious behind the steering wheel of his vehicle. He displayed signs of being intoxicated on an unknown substance when officers revived him. He was detained on suspicion of DUI. Police located a Suboxone prescription bottle containing 17 Xanax bars in his truck. The man’s condition worsened. EMS arrived on the scene and treated him for an overdose and transported him for medical care. Warrants are pending.
Day Shift September 30
24-012548 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Gun Shot Victim – Police responded on report of a juvenile with a gunshot wound. Officers arrived and determined the injury was the result of a self-inflicted, accidental discharge which occurred in Catoosa County, GA. The investigation was turned over the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office.
24-012546 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant /Evading/Drug Arrest – A man was taken into custody on several East Ridge and Hamilton County warrants after a brief foot chase. He was additionally charged with Evading and Possession of Marijuana. A retirement facility was briefly placed on lockdown because he had fled through their parking lot.
24-012556 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Theft/Vandalism – Security reported that in the afternoon of 09/27/2024, a male, wearing a dark ballcap, green t-shirt, blue jeans and possibly white and black Converse shoes removed the plumbing from a toilet and damaged a urinal in the men’s restroom causing it to flood. Warrants pending identification of the subject.
24-012557 – 3800 BLK Northview Avenue – Burglary Attempt – A resident reported that sometime between 09/28 and this date, an unknown subject attempted to enter the storage shed in his backyard by tampering with the screws on the latch. The complainant also advised an unknown party removed a black, plastic cylindrical compost ball from his front yard. No suspect information currently.
Night Shift September 30
24-012576 – 500 BLK S Moore Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop in the 500 Block of South Moore Road after observing unusual behavior by the occupants of the vehicle. A man was found to be in possession of MDMA and a firearm. He was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Schedule I – MDMA and Possession of a Firearm During Dangerous Felony. The suspect was transported to the Hamilton County Detention Center without incident.
24-012578 – Interstate 24 Westbound – Reckless Driving / Suspected DUI – Police received the report of a possible intoxicated driver moving toward I-24 westbound. Police located the vehicle and attempted to stop it, but the driver refused to pull over and continued traveling at a low rate of speed. The vehicle exited the interstate at 4th Avenue and continued to exhibit erratic behavior. Police deployed spike strips and disabled the vehicle in the 300 block of Glenwood Ave. Police then transported the female driver to a local hospital for a medical evaluation where she was admitted for further observations. A blood warrant has been secured and the Hamilton County DUI Coordinator was notified. Warrants are pending for DUI, Reckless Driving, and Resisting Stop, Frisk, Halt.
24-012572 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – Police observed a man and woman walking near Ringgold Road and observed one stumble and almost fall. During a consensual encounter, they consented to a search of their person and the room at a nearby motel. A glass pipe was located and taken for destruction. The female was found to be a registered sex offender and on parole out of Catoosa County, Georgia.
