Day Shift September 10
24-011608 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road– Fraud – An employee received a call from a number showing Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office advising of a warrant for his arrest. He is out $520 after following the instructions given by the scammer.
Night Shift September 10
24-011624 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Miscellaneous – A white Chevrolet Camaro arrived at the police department occupied by three individuals. The individuals stated that someone in a red van shot at them. Two bullet holes were located on the passenger side of the Camaro. Police were able to determine the shooting took place in the 200 block of Claire Street in Rossville. Walker County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the incident. The vehicle was secured in the police department parking lot while waiting for Walker County personnel to respond. Once two Walker County detectives arrived on the scene, they released the vehicle back to the victims.
24-011617 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Theft from vehicle – Police responded to a theft from a vehicle after the owner left his car unlocked. The victim reported a stolen firearm but was unable to provide a serial number.
24-011619 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Auto Burglary/Theft – Police responded to a Theft from Auto complaint. The victim stated that an unknown suspect removed a white envelope with approximately $800 from his center console. No damage to the vehicle was reported and no forced entry was observed.
24-011622 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy –Theft from vehicle – Police responded to a theft from a vehicle after the owner left his car unlocked.
24-011625-6800 BLK Ringgold Road-Traffic Stop/Arrest – While patrolling the 6800 block of Ringgold Road, police observed a white Nissan Altima leave a business with inactivated headlights. After an investigation, a woman was arrested for driving on revoked, financial responsibility, and light law violation. She was transported to The Hamilton County Jail without issue.
24-011626 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Auto Theft – Police responded to a stolen auto at commercial garage after an LPR alerted on the license plate through the garage door window. Police determined the car had been repossessed three weeks ago without the owner’s knowledge and was subsequently reported stolen by the owner. It was returned by the lienholder to the owner but never removed from NCIC.
24-011629 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Trespass/Drug Paraphernalia – A man was criminally trespassed from the location after he left trash and a broken crack pipe inside the restaurant.
