Day Shift September 3
24-011293 – 1100 BLK Greens Lake Road – Warrant Service – A passerby asked the police to check on a woman walking in the roadway. She was found to have a warrant out of East Ridge and was transported to jail without incident.
24-0111294 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Theft – Police were called to investigate a delayed theft from 09/02/2024. A male was observed by Loss Prevention removing a knife and flashlight from its packaging and concealing it before exiting the building without paying. The suspect drove away in a black Nissan Maxima/Altima. Total loss was $185.70.
24-011274 – 6300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – After being contacted by an employee, police located a homeless male sleeping next to the front door. The party was identified and, after a records check, was assisted in relocation to Metropolitan Ministries located at 4001 Rossville Blvd.
24-011281—500 BLK S Moore Rd—Suspicious Activity – Police spoke with the reporting party at the school. He advised an unidentified male and female came onto the property Monday morning at approximately 0150 hours and utilized their electrical outlets and dugout at the baseball field. Police advised him on rights of the private property representative and provided a case number to refer to if the parties in question show up again. He requested extra patrol at nighttime. Nothing further currently.
Night Shift September 3
24-011304 – 3200 BLK Old Ringgold Road – Disorder / Arrest – Police received a report of a suspicious male looking inside businesses and yelling at people. Officers found the man in the area and determined he was under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with Public Intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-011300 – 1400 Sunnyfield Lane – Domestic Assault / Arrest – Police responded to an assault in progress at the intersection of Oakdale Avenue and Sunnyfield Lane. Officers determined that a woman and her husband were in a verbal argument when the female grabbed the man’s phone and punched him in the face. She was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault.
24-011307 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road –Suspicious Activity / Arrest – Police responded to a report that the restaurant was open, but no employees were inside. Officers checked the area and found an employee sleeping in her vehicle. Police woke her and she immediately began screaming at everyone around her. She was arrested for Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
24-011305 – 100 BLK Windmere Drive – Suspicious Person – Police responded to the report of a suspicious person near the intersection of Windmere Drive and Shallowford Road. Officers located the man and quickly determined he needed assistance. Per his request, police transported him to a clinic in Chattanooga.
24-011319 – 3300 Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity / Assist Other Agency – Police observed a truck leave the motel and pull into a vacant parking lot. Police approached the vehicle and found a man and woman inside. One party was taken into custody for an Arrest Warrant out of Sessions Court and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
