Day Shift August 16
24-010489 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Warrant/AOA/ Pedestrian Struck – Police received a call regarding a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Officers arrived and spoke to a man who had blood coming from his nose and road rash on his legs and arms. He stated while riding his bike a vehicle turned from Karwill and he ran into the vehicle. After investigation was complete ERPD traffic determined He was in the wrong due to not following proper bike laws.
24-010487 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd– Disorder – A patient was uncooperative with staff and became disorderly. He was raising his voice and being disruptive with hospital staff and other patients. After becoming aggressive and threatening, police were called and handled the incident properly. The man was arrested and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
Night Shift August 16
24-010534 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – SIA/Narcotics Arrest – Officers were patrolling the parking lot when officers noticed a male slumped over in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Following a probable cause search of the vehicle he was taken into custody on multiple charges. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication.
24-010517 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant – A man was arrested on East Ridge warrant for Aggravated Domestic Assault at the Hamilton County Jail. East Ridge Police attempted to deliver Conditions of release to the victim, but she was no longer a resident.
24-010529 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Domestic Assault – Police arrested a party for Domestic Assault after observing injuries consistent with the victim’s account of what had occurred. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-010535 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Road – Protective Order Violation – Police charged the party from the above incident with Violation of an Order of Protection after he called the victim of Domestic Assault to ask the victim to pay his bond.
24-010530-3100 BLK Bimini Place-DUI Arrest – Police received a BOLO from dispatch about a driver who ran off the road and fled the scene with flat tires. Police located the vehicle along with its highly intoxicated driver. The man was taken into custody for driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license.
24-010524 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Intoxicated Person – Police were called to an assault in progress. On scene, police were signaled by servers who were pointing out the suspect. After investigating, there was no assault, but the subject was pestering customers and extremely intoxicated. The party had attempted to call an Uber but was too intoxicated to complete the call. Eventually officers were able to contact a friend to pick up the party with no further issues.
Day Shift August 17
24-010543 – 3400 BLK Missionaire Avenue – Backup EMS – Police responded to the above address to assist fire and EMS personnel with a party experiencing erratic behavior after having a seizure. Police observed an AR-15-style rifle and a handgun lying on the bed near the patient. Officers secured the firearms and stood by while the patient was being treated. The patient was transported to the hospital by EMS.
24-010565 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Unattended Children in Vehicle – A woman was cited for leaving her seven children in a parked vehicle without proper supervision.
Night Shift August 17
24-010573 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police intervened after a report of a male harassing staff. The suspect was found, and the store manager requested a trespass notice. He was informed of the trespass and left without further incident.
24-010581 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Fight – Police addressed a large fight in the parking lot. One suspect became aggressive after being asked to leave, yelled profanities, and fought with a security guard. The suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct after the security guard declined prosecution for the assault.
24-010589 – 3800 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Following a traffic stop at 3800 Ringgold Rd, a man was taken into custody for Driving on Revoked for DUI.
Day Shift August 18
24-010604 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road– Shoplifting – An employee of the business reported a $300 pressure washer stolen by a male. The suspect was identified by registration of the vehicle he was driving.
24-010605 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Broken Down Auto – Police assisted a motorist with removing the vehicle from the roadway.
Night Shift August 18
24-010626 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Stolen Auto – Police arrested a man and woman after they fled from a traffic stop and crashed the stolen vehicle they were driving on Camp Jordan Parkway. They were medically cleared for incarceration at a local hospital. The owner of the stolen vehicle was informed their vehicle was towed. East Ridge Parks was notified of the damaged property.
24-010616 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Burglar Alarm – Police responded to a business alarm. When units arrived, the owner was already on scene and officers were able to clear the business. The owner did not find anything out of place and claimed the door may have been left open by their children.
24-010618 – 3400 BLK Frawley Street – Traffic Stop – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an expired temporary registration. After speaking with the driver, officers conducted a consent search of the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, the driver was found to be in possession of a Draco AR-Pistol and a small amount of marijuana. After interviewing the male subject, he was issued a misdemeanor citation in lieu of arrest for unlawful possession of a firearm. The temp tag displayed on the vehicle was also found to be fraudulent and was seized by officers.
24-010622- 4200 BLK Ringgold Road- Unconscious person / Arrest – Police rendered aid to a male until EMS arrived. Officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. Upon a search of the car, police located a purse in the vehicle. When asked, the woman stated that the purse found in the vehicle was hers. Police searched the purse and located approximately 12 pieces of burnt aluminum foil and a cut burnt straw consistent with drug use. Officers have had previous encounters with the party being in possession of drug paraphernalia. Police took the woman into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia and transported her to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
