Day Shift July 16
24-009071- 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Mental Health Consumer- The caller advised a patient was causing a disorder in the emergency room. Officers were able to calm the patient. Later police were called back to the emergency room due to the patient causing another disorder. The patient was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
24-009081- 3800 BLK Ringgold Road- Auto Theft- The caller advised his “girlfriend”, of whom he did not know a last name, took his white Ford F-150 without permission. After further investigation it was found the truck had not been taken. It was found the vehicle that was actually taken was a 2016 Acura. A short time later the Acura was located in the old Food City parking lot. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and declined to have it listed as stolen. He arrived and picked up the vehicle.
Night Shift July
1624-009099 – 3200 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to maintain lane. Prior to activating any emergency equipment, the officer could smell the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle after following the vehicle for multiple blocks. A man was taken into custody on outstanding warrants out of Criminal Court for Possession of Fentanyl for Resale and Evading Arrest. ERPD Officers were informed he had concealed and attempted to discard two bags of marijuana which appeared to weigh a felony amount. Warrants are being sought for tampering with evidence and simple possession pending further investigation into the approximate amount of narcotics seized.
24-009104 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody on Criminal Court warrants for Theft of Property.
24-009105 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Rd – Theft – Staff at the convenience store called and stated that an unknown female stole $41.93 worth of lottery tickets and cigarettes. Report on file.
24-009098 – 400 BLK Mcbrien Rd – Disorder – Staff advised a patient was screaming at nurses and threatening them. When the police arrived, the suspect was no longer on scene. Officers spoke with staff and found that it was a verbal dispute only.
24-009104 – 3600 BLK Fountain Ave – Domestic Assault- A caller advised he and his child’s mother had been involved in a verbal dispute and she had pepper sprayed him. When police arrived on scene the victim had left prior to arrival. The victim was not cooperative with police and would not provide his name. Police spoke with the suspect, and she stated the victim was never there and he was making things up. Police also spoke with a witness who stated he was there, and they were involved in a verbal dispute. Due to the conflicting story’s police could not determine what took place.
