Day Shift July 15
24-009034- 1400 BLK Saint Thomas Street- Possible Wanted Person- An anonymous caller advised a man and woman were possibly staying at the motel. The couple is suspected of thefts in Georgia (nothing confirmed). They, nor their vehicle, was located.
24-009042- 5300 BLK Spriggs Street- Disorder- Police responded to a disorder between neighbors. The argument was over parking issues. They were all asked to leave each other alone.
24-009047- 3200 BLK Gleason Drive- Indecent Exposure- The caller advised a male resident of the apartments exposed himself to her on 7-12-24. The caller declined to prosecute. Report on file.
Night Shift July 15
24-009054 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest- Drugs – Police conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot on a vehicle bearing expired tags. Police searched the vehicle, and the driver was found in possession of 0.8 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He also had an active arrest warrant out of East Ridge.
23-014311 – 400 BLK McBrien Road – Arrest-Warrant – A party was arrested on a Domestic Assault (Simple Assault) warrant which was issued on November 11, 2023. They were transported to Hamilton County Jail and brought before the magistrate for a Conditions of Release hearing.
24-009059 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-Warrant – A man was arrested on an Alias Capias warrant for Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.
24-009060 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road– Deceptive Practice – Police spoke with the complainant who said a friend of her nephew took her pregnant dog and $720 dollars to have surgery performed by a veterinarian. The friend, who she did not know, told her the dog and the puppies were deceased. She was not given proof of the dogs’ passing, nor was she given information on the clinic the dog was purportedly taken to. Police advised her to contact her nephew to help identify the friend that took the money and the dog.
24-009067 – 300 BLK Windmere Avenue – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to a report that a person dressed in all black wearing a mask was looking into vehicles. Officers observed a car parked in the driveway on Lynncrest with its dome light on and door slightly open. Police continued towards another home on Lynncrest where three males were observed running from another parked car. The suspects ran through the hedges towards Tunnel Blvd. Police canvassed the area, tracked with K9 but were not able to locate the suspects. ERPD contacted the vehicle owner who indicated no items of value were missing. Police patrolled the rest of the neighborhood but did not observe any other vehicles that appeared to be compromised.
