Day Shift May 24
24-006647- 6600 BLK Jordan Run- Suspicious Person- The caller advised she could see an unknown male standing in her driveway through her Ring camera. Officers located the male and identified him. He was checked for warrants and given a courtesy ride to the community kitchen.
24-006649- 4400 BLK Ringgold Road- Criminal Simulation/Arrest- Officers spoke with the reporting party who advised that she believed a known suspect was attempting to cash a fraudulent check for $1,600.00. After further investigation, the check was confirmed to be fraudulent. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Night Shift May 24
24-006675 – 5300 BLK McBrien Road – Shots Fired – Police responded to a shots-fired call on the corner of McBrien Rd and Roosevelt Rd where a drive by shooting was confirmed on a residence. Police identified one 9mm bullet casing in the roadway and a single bullet hole in the window of the residence. The bullet destroyed a flat screen television in the home. The resident was not injured in the shooting. Surveillance led to the identification of the suspect vehicle and the subject driving it was apprehended at Sherwood Trailer Park with the coordination of Catoosa County SO.
24-006687 – 5400 BLK Oakdale Ave – Disorder with a Weapon – Police responded to a disorder with a weapon involving a domestic dispute. A man was arrested on two counts of Aggravated Assault and Vandalism after using a four-foot metal pole to smash the driver side window of his ex-wife’s boyfriend’s car with both the ex-wife and her boyfriend in the vehicle. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail and his belongings were placed into property and evidence.
24-006691 – 900 BLK Belvoir Avenue – Arrest-DUI – Following a traffic stop a party was arrested for driving under the influence, resisting arrest, and speeding. He was transported to The Hamilton County Jail.
24-006693 – 3400 BLK Frawley Street – Shots Fired – Police were dispatched to a shots fired call. At arrival police didn’t locate any suspects or victims. Shell casings were located and placed into property and evidence. There are no suspects currently.
Day Shift May 25
24-006702- 4400 BLK Ringgold Road- Vandalism- Police spoke with the RP who advised when he arrived at the business around 0930 hours, he noticed the glass front door of the business had been broken out. He stated the door was still locked and nothing appeared to be missing. He and another employee had already entered the business prior to police arrival. Additionally, the caller stated there was video footage of the incident but was unable to provide it due to technical difficulties.
24-006706- 4214 Ringgold Road- Found Property- Police spoke with a woman at the police department regarding a purse she found. She advised she had found the purse lying on Yale Street behind Parkridge East Hospital. Inside the purse police located a Tennessee driver’s license, a pair of sunglasses, and several other miscellaneous items. The purse and all contents were entered in property for safekeeping.
24-006711- 5300 BLK Oakdale Avenue- Assist Fire- Officers responded with ERFD on a possible house fire. Police stood by while ERFD handled the call.
Night Shift May 25
24-006716 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – SIA/Gang Validation – Officers contacted a male subject who appeared to be sleeping in the bed of a truck at one of the pumping stations. While speaking with him officers observed multiple tattoos affiliated with the Aryan Brotherhood gang throughout his upper torso. He further verified he was a member of the gang. A gang validation and field interview report were completed in reference to the encounter.
24-006717 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder – Police responded to the restaurant for a party asking individuals in the patio area for money. The suspect left the scene upon police arrival, and nobody was harmed or bothered any further.
No Number – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder Prevention- Upon completion of 24-006717, police were requested by staff to remain on scene for a party that had young adults that appeared they might possibly cause a public disturbance. No such occurrence took place.
24-006736 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-DUI – Police stopped a red Saturn SUV in the 5800 block of Ringgold Road after observing it stopping in the road for no apparent reason. The driver indicated clues of driving under the influence and agreed to standardized field sobriety testing. Police arrested the driver for DUI after indicating multiple clues of intoxication.
24-006738 – 3800 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder W/Weapon – Police responded to this location due to a party in the parking lot with a firearm. Suspects left prior to police arrival. All parties appeared to be intoxicated.

24-006762- 7600 BLK Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A party was served an East Ridge warrant at the jail.
Night Shift May 26
24-006768 – 1800 BLK Prigmore Road – MVC-DUI – Following a single-vehicle crash, police took a woman into custody for Driving Under The Influence, Failure to maintain lane, and Failure to Carry DL.
24-006771 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Assist Citizen – Police engaged a homeless female panhandling at the gas station. The woman from Alabama told police she was temporarily out of money and wanted to buy a milkshake. Police transported her to Chattanooga Rescue Mission.
24-006781 – 5000 BLK S Terrace – Arrest-DUI – Police observed an intoxicated driver on McBrien Road. After agreeing to a field sobriety test, the party was arrested for DUI (3rd Offense) and Driving on Revoked for DUI.
Day Shift May 27
24-006789- 1500 BLK Maxwell Road- Arrest- A woman was found passed out in her vehicle at the post office. She gave consent to search her vehicle and police found 24.3 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. She was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
24-006897 – 1200 BLK John Ross Road– Harassment/Officer Safety – A man contacted police regarding a party making an indirect threat to him over Facebook Messenger and shooting a single bullet through the back door of his residence. The caller identified himself as a Crip gang member and advised the suspect is a Blood gang member. Due to the threat being indirect and the RP not seeing the individual who performed the shooting, a warrant is not being sought at this time. He was advised to contact police if the issues continue.
24-006805 – 5700 BLK Roper Street– Domestic Assault – Police responded to this location initially on an unknown trouble call. A woman and her live-in boyfriend were found to be in a verbal disorder. Police stood by while she packed her personal effects. During this time the man continued to be highly agitated. The victim made statements to police that she had been assaulted by him and he had made further threats towards her. She had marks on her neck and shoulder area which corroborated her statement. He was taken to jail and charged with Domestic Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest.
Night Shift May 27
24-006826 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue – Suspicious Activity – A male party with multiple firearms was reported to be walking through the complex digging through the dumpster of the Summit Apartment complex. Police contacted the party, who stated he was looking for the toy darts his son shot out of his toy guns.
24-006840 – 3900 BLK Bacon Trail – Suspicious Activity – Police located an unsecured vehicle while checking the area for a suspicious person. A gray Mercedes was found with the trunk open, and the doors unlocked. The owner was notified and did not believe anything had been taken. The owner did not want a report but will contact police if anything is found missing.
