Day Shift May 22
24-006543 – 3400 BLK Ringgold Road – Civil Matter – A citizen contacted police after the gas pump she tried to use was not working. A store employee offered to refund the $10 she paid for fuel, but she insisted she saw another customer receive gas, and, therefore, she wanted the employee to make her gas pump work. The employee was unable to do so, and the party left with her refund.
24-006549 – 6800 BLK Dharma Loop – Deceptive Practice – A resident stated he received a phone call from a person identifying himself as a deputy from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office stating he had several felony warrants. The RP was told he could have these expunged if he went to a kiosk and bought a voucher and took it downtown to the Sheriff’s Office. He stated the original call was from a cell phone, but the 2nd call was from 423-209-7000, which is HCSO’s listed number. The caller requested him to remain on the line until he had completed the transaction. The complainant stated he told the “deputy” just to come and get him as he realized this was a scam.
24-006546 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Harassment – Police spoke with a man who was told by police he was being trespassed by the employees of the fuel station. He was also advised to stop calling and sending text messages to the employees.
24-006533 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – SIA/Warrants – A woman was found to have warrants out of session court. She was taken to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift May 22
24-006580 – 6600 Ringgold Road – Missing / Endangered person – A man was walking along the I-75 North on ramp. He had been reported as a missing/endangered person on 05/20/2024 by CPD. Officers transported him to a local hospital and removed him from NCIC.
24-006574 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Criminal Trespass Arrest – A man was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass after being observed at this location with an active Proximity Restriction against him.
24-006581 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Public Intox – A party was taken into custody for Public Intoxication after being removed from a greyhound bus.
24-006577 – 100 BLK Windmere Drive – Disorder – Police responded to a disorder at the residence between an adult female and her parents. Police found the disorder was verbal only and there was no signs of an assault or injury. Police checked on the well-being of the female and departed the area.
24-006567 – 1200 BLK John Ross Road – Domestic Disorder – The caller advised police his son-in-law was drunk. Police advised the caller it was not illegal to be intoxicated inside your own home.
