Day Shift May 15
24-006183- 3800 BLK Ringgold Road- Shoplifting- The caller advised a male took several items without paying. The suspect was gone before police arrival. Later the suspect was located on 3505 Maple Lane and identified. He was arrested and taken to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-006184- Court Drive @ Ealy Road- Explosion- The caller advised he heard two explosions coming from the west. Officers checked the area and found nothing out of the ordinary.
24-006191- 3600 BLK Shirl Jo- Disorder- The caller advised his child’s mother was causing a disorder at his residence. Officers spoke to the caller. He advised the party was angry over a child custody issue. She was gone before police arrival.
Night Shift May 15
24-006206 – 1500 BLK Karwill Lane – Suspicious Person – Police responded to allegations of drug solicitation on Karwill Lane. The caller reported that her neighbor tried to sell suboxone medication to her. The neighbor denied the allegations to police.
24-006214, 24-006216, 24-006217 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice – Officers responded to the business after a male attempted to pass a worthless check. Suspect information was provided while speaking with the reporting party. Officers were then provided information for another male subject who attempted to cash a worthless check on a separate date. Incident reports are on file for each attempt at cashing worthless checks on separate days.
24-006224 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Following a traffic stop at this location a man was taking into custody for possession of cocaine. He was transported to The Hamilton County Jail without issues.
24-006226 – 3200 BLK Gleason Drive – Stolen Auto Recovery – Police recovered a stolen auto w/ a stolen license plate attached. The owners for both the 2016 Silver Hyundai Sonata and the Alabama tag were contacted. The tag was placed into property and evidence. The automobile was towed.
24-006229 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – While patrolling police observed a bicyclist without a headlight after dark. Police stopped and identified the man who was negative for warrants. Police performed a Field Interview. FI – 24-000092.
24-006230 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Vehicle – The caller advised police that there was a truck blocking the entrance to the Starbucks. An officer contacted the truck’s driver, and it was moved.
No Number Assigned – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Field Interview – Officers contacted a man after observing him to not have a rear facing red reflector on his bicycle. A field interview report was completed regarding the encounter.
