Day Shift May 2
24-005534- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Noise Complaint- The caller advised someone was playing loud music in the lot. He was asked to turn it down.
24-005541- 1900 BLK Tombras Avenue- Disorder- The caller advised she was assaulted by her boyfriend. Police observed marks consistent with her story. Warrants will be sought for Aggravated Assault.
No Number Assigned- 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Miscellaneous Information- The caller advised as he was attempting to repossess a Hyundai when the “owner” entered the vehicle and drove it off the wrecker. This caused damage to the bumper of the Hyundai. The caller advised he will speak to police if the driver attempts to file a report.
Night Shift May 2
24-005574 – 1200 BLK Laredo Avenue – Domestic Assault – Police responded to a disorder. One party was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault after choking her girlfriend and pulling her hair. She was transported to jail and conditions of release were delivered to the victim.
24-005561 – 1517 Tombras Ave – Citizen Assist – Police were flagged down by a party at Pioneer Park. She stated that a group of juveniles had shot her grandson and were shooting at each other with Orbeez guns. The juveniles were gone prior to police arrival. Police are going to be following up with the school’s SRO staff to try and reduce the annoyance of the juveniles’ actions to the public.
24-005577 – 4300 BLK Bennett Road – Traffic Stop/Narcotics – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing a known man to be the driver and having a suspended license. Following a probable cause search of the vehicle officers located a large amount of drug paraphernalia along with a glass vial which contained a purple rocklike substance consistent with fentanyl. He was taken into custody for possession of fentanyl for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
24-005562 – 800 BLK Poindexter Avenue – Vandalism – Police responded to reports of property damage by the resident caused by her grandson. Officers observed a broken door jamb that was consistent to someone forcing entry through a locked door and a fist sized hole in the wall. He was arrested for Vandalism and released from custody with a citation.
24-005570 – I-24 Exit 183 – Auto Broke Down – Police assisted a citizen of East Ridge with a tire change on the shoulder of I-24 East near the Germantown Road Exit. No incident.
24-005572 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Field Interview – Police stopped a bicycle on Ringgold Road for no light after dark. Police interviewed the rider who was on his way home on John Ross Road. He showed police that his bicycle light needed to be charged. A field interview was performed. No incident.
