Day Shift April 24
24-005157 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Public Intoxication – Store personnel stated a woman has fallen in the grassy area surrounding the parking lot. The woman appeared very lethargic and unable to answer questions clearly without slurring her words. She was taken into custody for public intoxication.
24-005162 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Abandoned Auto – An employee advised a rental truck he reported stolen a few months prior had been returned to the lot, reference 24-002140.
24-005156 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Wellbeing Check/Arrest – Police responded to this address after a woman was observed sitting in a grassy area near the street. She was unable to provide coherent responses to basic questions and was unaware of where she was or how she got there. She was taken for a medical evaluation. Following medical clearance, the woman was transported to jail.
24-005165 – 5300 BLK Bennett Road – Structure Fire – Police responded to this location with the Fire Department on report of a structure fire. Officers made sure the residence was evacuated and stood by for traffic control.
00-004838 – Stolen Handgun Recovery – Police received an NCIC hit from the Chicago Police Department after an AMT handgun was recovered in their jurisdiction that was stolen in 2000. The handgun was removed from NCIC, and a supplement was submitted.
24-005148 – 200 BLK Eads Street– Auto Theft – The caller reported her red 2011 Hyundai Elantra was stolen sometime during the early morning hours. The vehicle was recorded on the LPR system traveling southbound on Camp Jordan Pkwy at approximately 0418hrs. The vehicle was entered into NCIC and was later located by Chattanooga Police.
24-005170 – 200 BLK Eads Street– Stolen Vehicle Recovery – CPD located a red 2011 Hyundai Elantra that was stolen out of East Ridge earlier in the day. The vehicle was towed and was removed from NCIC.
24-005166 – 200 BLK Eads Street Apt– Domestic Assault/Theft Under $1000 – A man was arrested for Domestic Assault and Theft Under $1000 after the victim contacted police lot advising he assaulted her at her apartment. The suspect was located at the apartment complex and in possession of the victim’s X-Box system.
Night Shift April 24
22-013754 – 7600 BLK Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with an East Ridge arrest warrant at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charge on the warrant was Driving on a Suspended License.
24-005188 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest – Police observed a vehicle parked next to the dumpster behind the business. As the police approached, the vehicle began to move in reverse. The driver told police he found a meat lovers pizza and was now going to be on his way home. He was arrested for driving on Revoked for being a habitual DUI offender.
