Day Shift April 19
24-004917 – 700 BLK Frawley Road – Pedestrian Struck – A male called in advising his foot had been run over by a vehicle. The reporting party could not provide an exact address, disconnected from 911, and dispatch was unable to reach him upon call back. The area was canvassed, and nothing was located.
24-004950 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Indecent Exposure – The reporting party stated there was a male and female nude and engaged in acts near the walking trail in the park. The couple were fully clothed and simply cuddling.
24-004922 – 4000 BLK Belvoir Pines Drive – Theft from a Vehicle – The caller stated her unlocked vehicle was illegally entered and her passport and bank card were stolen between the hours of 0500 and 0800. Her bank card was used several times, both successfully and unsuccessfully.
Night Shift April 19
24-004958 – 1600 BLK Keeble Street – Assault – A man called to report he had been assaulted by a woman. Police were unable to determine if an assault had taken place.
24-004960 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Aggravated Domestic Assault – A woman assaulted her ex-girlfriend at the gas station. She had sprayed gas into the vehicle and onto the victim. She also placed a plastic bag full of burnt items, including photographs and a book on the side mirror of the vehicle. The suspect then fled the scene driving a blue Chevrolet Malibu, with a white anchor sticker on the rear window. Warrants are being sought.
24-004972- 1300 BLK Orlando Avenue – Evading – Police observed a male behind the utility board fence. Upon sight of police, the individual immediately took off running into the woods. Police canvassed the area but were unable to locate anyone. The male was wearing a bright orange shirt and blue pants. The last known direction of travel was East from Orlando Avenue into the woods.
24-004968 – 4500 BLK Bennett Rd – DUI / Arrest – After a traffic stop at this location, the driver was arrested for DUI. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-004963 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Warrant Service – After a traffic stop, a man was found to have an active warrant for Domestic Assault through the Hamilton County Sessions Court. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-004977 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI Arrest – After a traffic stop police found that the driver and all four passengers were in possession of alcohol and had consumed several of the beverages. The juvenile driver was charged with Driving Under the Influence. The passengers were charged with Underage Possession of Alcohol.
Day Shift April 20
24-004995 – 3600 BLK Wimberly Drive – Disorder with a Weapon – Officers responded to this address in reference to a man attempting stab his brother and mother with a grilling fork. he fled as police were approaching and was not located. Warrants for aggravated domestic assault, evading arrest and vandalism are forthcoming.
24-004987 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police conducted a field interview after observing a man lingering in the area for several hours. He explained he was homeless and was waiting on a friend to pick him up. The party was given a courtesy ride to Chattanooga.
Night Shift April 20
24-004995 – 3600 BLK Wimberly Ln – Update / Suspicious Activity – The suspect from an earlier domestic incident called Dispatch and stated that he had returned home. Police responded to the location and found the information was untrue after speaking with his mother. Police determined the phone call was a ruse and the suspect was attempting to further upset his mother by sending the police into her home. The man has two pending arrest warrants for Aggravated Assault.
24-004999 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Person / Arrest – Police were dispatched to a suspicious person complaint inside the store. Police contacted the party where he was found to be under the influence of a narcotic. After a consensual search of his vehicle, police discovered drug paraphernalia. The man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.
24-005012 – 1000 BLK S. Seminole Dr. – Domestic Disorder – The caller stated her husband assaulted her and said he was going to hurt himself. Chattanooga PD found him near Brainerd Road. He was taken into custody and admitted to the hospital for further evaluation. Police will seek an arrest warrant for Aggravated Assault (Domestic).
24-005015 – 1100 BLK Sewanee Drive – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to a reported disorder at this location and found it was just a loud television. While on scene, police heard 10 gunshots north of their position. The shots were eventually traced back to an incident on McBrien Road in Chattanooga, reference CPD 24-035783. Police found there were no shots fired in East Ridge.
24-005016 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Injury Crash / DUI Arrest – Police responded to a crash with unknown injuries. Police found that a single car hit a tree and rolled over. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to the hospital due to her injuries. The driver was arrested and charged with DUI and Reckless Endangerment.
Day Shift April 21
24-005017 – 800 BLK Harris Lane – Assault – An assault at an “after party” turned violent when several female teenagers pepper sprayed each other, one of which was in a vehicle. The driver accelerated rapidly, striking another vehicle causing disabling damage to both vehicles. The assault is still under investigation until other party(s) can be questioned.
24-005017 -3000 BLK Whitehead Avenue – Disorderly Conduct and Driving on a Suspended License- The caller stated her ex-roommate had the key vehicle and will not return it. The suspect said she did not have the key and was told warrants would be sought for her arrest for theft. The suspect, standing on her porch, began a rant of expletives as neighbors arrived home. She then took a trash bag of leaves, dumped it in her yard and picked through the material until she found the key. The woman then threw the key at ERPD patrol cars and continued her tirade of loud expletives. She was taken into custody and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Driving on a Suspended license.
Night Shift April 21
24-005037 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – DUI / Crash – A man was taken into custody after he drove his vehicle into a tree in the median of Camp Jordan Parkway. He then began yelling at several individuals after the crash and added to the general disorder of the incident. He was charged with Driving Under the Influence and Disorderly Conduct.
24-005047- 1000 BLK Greens Lake Road- False Reports – A woman reported suicide threats concerning a male party. It was determined that the man is serving a life sentence in the Mississippi DOC. The man’s father stated the woman, who knows of the subject’s incarceration in another state, reported this to harass he and his family.
Day Shift April 22
24-005058- 184 I-24 East- Traffic Stop/Arrest- Police observed a black Honda Civic traveling eastbound on Interstate 24 within the city limits of Chattanooga. The vehicle was being driven in an erratic manner nearly striking the barrier wall several times as well as other vehicles. The vehicle continued its erratic behavior as it entered the city limits of East Ridge. A traffic stop was attempted well west of the Germantown Rd exit ramp in hopes the vehicle would yield and exit the interstate. The vehicle continued, failing to stop until the interchange of Interstate 24 and Interstate 75. Police approached the vehicle and removed the driver who explained she was on the way to see her mother but gave no other reason for refusing to stop. An information check revealed she had a suspended TN driver’s license. She was transported to jail and charged accordingly.
24-005071- 4400 BLK Bennett Road- Disorder- The caller advised approximately fifteen kids at the school were involved in an altercation. Police checked the area, but the kids had already left the area.
Night Shift April 22
24-005086 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Domestic Assault – Police responded to a victim of a delayed assault while working an off-duty job involving a juvenile employee. The suspect was arrested at his home for Domestic Assault and transported to Hamilton County Jail. CPS was notified and responded to coordinate custody exchange of three juveniles.
24-005094 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after it failed to stop at a stop sign. After consent to search the vehicle, the driver was arrested for possession of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence. The passenger was arrested for an active warrant out of Whitfield County, GA for felony financial fraud. Both females were transported to The Hamilton County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail, one confessed to police that she had more fentanyl pills inside her person. A female corrections deputy was called and located five more fentanyl pills in a plastic bag. The fentanyl was turned over to Hamilton County Jail staff and a charge of contraband in the penal institution is being sought by Hamilton County.
24-005095 – 3300 BLK Frawley Street – Suspicious Activity – Officers responded to this location regarding a male subject looking into car windows. Upon arrival officers located a male kneeling next to trash cans. He was subsequently taken into custody for public intoxication.
