Day Shift April 17
24-004836- 1300 BLK Saint Thomas Street- Unknown 911- The caller advised there was a fugitive at an address on Saint Thomas Street. Police located the caller and advised him to only use 911 for emergencies. The report was found to be false.
24-004842- 1400 BLK Saint Thomas Street- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a male was knocking on doors at the motel. Police located the male and advised him to stay off the property.
24-004674- 3600 BLK Maiden Drive- Warrant Service- A man was served with East Ridge warrants and transported to jail.
Night Shift April 17
24-004845 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – SIA – While on patrol officers observed a vehicle matching the description of a stolen vehicle parked at the motel. Patrol officers with the assistance of Crime Suppression Investigators conducted a knock and talk at a room. Following the encounter, a man was taken into custody for theft. He was also found to have a warrant out of Knox County for felony theft.
24-004847 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Park and Walk/Warrant Service – While conducting a park and walk at this location, police arrested a party for a warrant out of sessions for driving on revoked license. He was transported to The Hamilton County Jail without issues.
24-004849 – 500 BLK Wando Drive – Property Damage – Police responded to the above address for a property damage complaint. The caller’s red Ford F-150 had damage to the driver-door where it appears somebody attempted to enter it by force. Photos of the damage and a police report were taken.
24-004854 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with switched tags. Following the encounter, a woman was taken into custody on outstanding warrants out of Hamilton County and Catoosa County.
24-004857 – 700 BLK S Seminole Drive – Shots Fired – Police were dispatched to a shots fired call in the 600 block of S Seminole Drive. A resident taking out their trash at the time saw a black SUV passing at the time and heard one bang that sounded like gunfire but could have been exhaust backfire. Police did not locate any shell casings.
Day Shift April 18
24-004865- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Delayed Theft- Police spoke with staff regarding a delayed theft from 4-17-24. He stated that he observed, via CCTV, male wearing a gray or black Pink Floyd baseball cap putting duffle bags inside of a backpack. The security tags were also taken off the merchandise before the suspect walked out. The suspect was seen leaving the store without paying for the items and walking north then east possibly toward the motel. The items taken were an Osprey backpack valued at $189.99 and two duffle bags valued at $69.99. The identity of the suspect is unknown currently.
24-004869- 4400 BLK Lanoir Circle- Suspicious Activity- The caller advised a female was observed attempting to steal packages from the front porch. Police searched the area, but the female was not located. Officers did recover security footage for review.
Night Shift April 18
24-004888 – 1000 BLK John Ross Road – Miscellaneous Complaint – A caller reported their son came home from school and reported another student showed him a firearm he had in his bag while on the bus. The caller could not confirm if it was real or fake and could not provide police with any information on the other student. Police attempted to contact the principal via phone but were unable to make contact. Follow up will be accomplished ASAP.
24-004882 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police responded to a verbal disorder between a customer and the clerk at the gas station. Police advised the offending party to not return to because she was trespassed at the owner’s request.
24-004885 – 6200 BLK Holiday Drive – Miscellaneous Complaint – Caller advised Police that her mom had text her “911 help” and was unable to contact her. The caller advised that her mother had an abusive boyfriend and was worried something would happen to her mother. After a short time, the mother of the reporting party called her back and said her car broke down and needed a ride.
24-004891 – 700 BLK Frawley Road – Deceptive Practice – The victim called and stated that a named subject had been cashing bad checks under his bank accounts. Report on file.
24-004901 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road– Domestic Disorder – Police responded to reports of an assault. One subject was found to have a warrant out of Walker County, GA but the warrant was not extraditable. Police were unable to determine a primary aggressor and provided a courtesy ride for the reporting party.
24-004907 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road– Suspicious Activity – Police responded a second time to the same motel room on a report that fentanyl was being sold from the room. Police identified the reporting party as the ex-girlfriend who was previously separated from her ex-boyfriend. Police advised dispatch to note the card for future false 911 calls by the woman.
