Day Shift April 4
24-004203- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Auto Theft- Police spoke with the complainant who advised sometime between 2000 hours 4-3 and 0540 hours today her blue 2015 Kia Optima had been stolen from in front of her apartment. She described the vehicle as being dark blue and having dark-tinted windows. There is currently no suspect information available.
No number assigned- 3300 BLK Ringgold Road- AOA/Criminal Trespass Warning- While assisting East Ridge Code Enforcement, a man was found living in a homeless camp behind the convenience store. The property owner responded and wanted him trespassed from the property. The property owner agreed to let him stay on the property and clean up until 1700 hours on 04/05. The subject understood after 1700 hours on 04/05 he would be arrested if found on the property.
24-004210- 1400 BLK Saint Thomas Street- Disorder- The caller advised he paid for a room, but the motel was refusing to refund his money upon leaving early. Police spoke with all parties involved and a solution was reached.
24-004220- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Shoplifting- A man was issued a misdemeanor citation for shoplifting after being observed by loss prevention attempting to steal items.
Night Shift April 4
24-004249 – 4000 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest – A man was taken into custody for DUI – Alcohol following a traffic stop at this location.
24-004255 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration. Following a probable cause search of the vehicle after a positive K9 alert, a man was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of schedule IV, possession of meth, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
24-004247—3700 BLK Bennett Rd – Intoxicated Party – Police got out with a male party who appeared intoxicated on Bennett Road. Police took this party into custody and transported him to the Hamilton County Jail for public Intoxication and for further identification. Currently entered in as a John Doe.
24-004240-5300 BLK Connell Street – Disorder with A Weapon – The reporting party called and stated that her elderly father was threatening her with a hammer. Upon arrival his mental health was a concern. EMS was called and police stood by while EMS transported him to a local hospital for medical evaluation.
24-004248 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – MVC – DUI Arrest – Police responded to a crash at this location. Following an investigation, it was determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence and Driving without a License. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-004242 – 6000 Ringgold Road – AOA – While police were in route to a call, an officer was flagged down by a male party involved in a disorder. Police contacted a party who had verified warrants from the Session Court for Burglary. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-004258 – 900 BLK Belvoir Avenue – Suspicious Vehicle – Police observed a suspicious vehicle in the driveway of this location for approximately 20 minutes with its reverse lights activated. The occupant was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest after contact was made.
