Day Shift March 28
24-003880 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Arrest – While investigating registration on a vehicle at a hotel it was learned the owner had valid felony warrants through Hamilton County. Police contacted the party in room 197. He was detained without incident and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-003892 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Person – Employees asked for police assistance in removing a male party from the property. Officers contacted him and asked him to vacate. He was trespassed at the request of management.
24-003882 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Check Well-Being – Officers were dispatched to a male party acting erratic and stumbling near the business. Police contacted an extremely intoxicated party on Bales Avenue. For his safety, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
24-003896 – 100 I75 N – Back Other Agency – Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a road rage incident in which a vehicle passenger ran on foot and into Tennessee. The suspect was detained and determined to have active warrants in Walker County, but extradition was declined.
Night Shift March 28
24-003913- 5600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Felony Evading – Police attempted to stop a white Jeep Cherokee and it fled onto Fruitland Dr. The unknown driver threw a Glock 9mm handgun out of the window before fleeing East on Clemons Rd. Police located the vehicle abandoned at the dead end of Maxwell Rd. Officers recovered 18.5 grams of suspected fentanyl in the vehicle. Charges pending for the driver upon identification.
24-003919 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and evading arrest following a disorder at this location.
24-003908 – 5700 BLK Roper Street – Theft From Vehicle – The caller advised her Glock 23, unknown serial number, was stolen from her vehicle. The vehicle was parked at the apartments at the time she noticed it missing.
24-003918 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest – RP called in advising he saw a male at the Mapco matching the description of a wanted suspect out of Catoosa County. Police located the male and identified him. The warrants verified and he was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
Day Shift March 29
24-003934- 900 BLK South Seminole Drive- Unconscious Person- The caller advised of two females passed out in a vehicle. Police located the vehicle and spoke with the occupants. They were checked for warrants and sent on their way.
Night Shift March 29
24-027880 – 8000 BLK Batters Place Road – Active Shooter – Chattanooga PD requested all available assistance with an Active Shooter at this location with at least one victim and multiple shots fired. ERPD Units immediately responded to the area and a CSU Investigator located the shooter and assisted Chattanooga with taking the suspect into custody. Other units immediately took assignment from the Command Post and began a search for additional victims or shooters. The scene was turned over to CPD.
24-003939 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Property – A citizen turned in a wallet at the Police Station that she discovered in her mailbox. The wallet contained a Driver’s License. The wallet was placed into property and evidence for safe keeping.
24-003940 – 5000 BLK South Terrace – Suspicious Person – Police responded to a suspicious female on a bicycle after security reported her presence and wanted her trespassed for panhandling. Police performed a Field Interview on the suspicious party.
24-003945 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop-Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on a black Ford Mustang with no tags. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and located 2 grams of methamphetamine and two needles. The driver was taken into custody for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
24-003959 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd – Found Property – Staff provided the police with a brown purse with miscellaneous items inside. Police took the purse to place into property and evidence for safe keeping.
Day Shift March 30
24-003977- 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Found Property- Police met with an employee who advised a firearm was found inside the women’s restroom. He had unloaded the firearm and placed it into a safe before police arrival. The weapon was removed from the safe and identified as a Ruger LCP 380 Auto handgun. After checking the serial number dispatch advised the firearm had not been reported stolen. It was placed in property and evidence for safekeeping. Later in the shift police spoke with the owner via telephone regarding the firearm. She was advised she would have to wait until Monday during business hours to pick up her property.
Night Shift March 30
24-003995– 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Wellbeing Check – Officers were called regarding a female party who appeared to be falling asleep at one of the dining tables. The woman was then observed by staff to be falling asleep while inside her vehicle. The subject left prior to police arrival. Officers attempted to locate the vehicle but did not locate it in the area.
24-004004 – 5400 BLK Ringold Road – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop a man was taken into custody on warrants out of Criminal Court. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-004007 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle failing to maintain lane. Officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view while speaking to the driver. She then told officers she was in possession of heroin. After conducting a probable cause search officers located a purple powdery substance along with a large amount of drug paraphernalia. She was released from the scene due to medical reasons. Officers will be pursuing warrants on narcotics and paraphernalia related charges.
24-004011 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder – Security advised approximately 25 people on motorcycles were trying to start a fight after being removed from the business. A show of Police presence in the parking lot successfully dispersed the crowd without further issue.
24-0040015 – Wiley Avenue & Belvoir Avenue – Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with an improperly displayed license plate. Following the encounter, the driver was taken into custody for possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
24-004018 – 3800 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police received a tip of a male attempting to sell cocaine to an employee at business. Police contacted the suspect and located a clear baggy with a white powdery substance in his pocket. He was charged with Possession of Cocaine and Public Intoxication.
Day Shift March 31
24-004022- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder Prevention/Warrant Service- The caller requested police assistance with talking to a guest about a rule violation. The guest was not there. He was found to have a confirmed warrant out of sessions court. He is known to drive a painter’s van.
Night Shift March 31
No Number—6700 BLK Ringgold Rd—SIA/Citizen Assist – While conducting a business check at this location, police assisted a family with securing their wheel nuts on their vehicle that had come loose while traveling. The family was able to continue traveling from this area without further assistance.
24-004040 – 1600 BLK Keeble Street – Traffic Stop/Weapons/Narcotics – Officers made a traffic stop on a vehicle with an improperly displayed plate. Following the encounter a man was taken into custody for being a felon in possession of a firearm, simple possession of narcotics, and driving on suspended.
Day Shift April 1
24-004072 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to a report of a person potentially unconscious in a vehicle. The party was identified as an employee who was sitting in her vehicle reviewing paperwork.
Night Shift April 1
24-004078 – 1517 Tombras Avenue – Suspicious Activity – Officers conducted a presence patrol at the playground near City Hall due to reports of nefarious activity. Police found the area in good order.
24-004086 – 4400 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Activity/Arrest – Police observed a male seemingly evade police by entering a dark alley between two businesses. Police located the male and identified him. It was then found that he had two warrants out of Hamilton County. The man was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-004088 – Ringgold Road / Cemetery Avenue – Disorder / Assist Other Agency – Officers assisted Chattanooga PD in locating a vehicle that was part of a rolling disorder. The owner of the vehicle advised Police that another individual was refusing to return the car to him. ERPD Officers returned the vehicle to the rightful owner. He did not wish to prosecute for the incident.
24-004089 – Welcome Center, I-75N – Narcotics Violation – Police observed a Chrysler 300 traveling at a high rate of speed prior to exiting into the Welcome Center. Officers conducted a consensual encounter with the vehicle and found the occupant smoking suspected marijuana in the vehicle. He was taken into custody for public intoxication, possession of a firearm while under the influence, possession of marijuana for resale, and driving on revoked license. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
