Day Shift March 1
24-002634- 6100 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a male was walking in traffic. Officers observed the man but he was not walking in traffic.
Night Shift March 1
24-002649 – 1600 BLK Key West Ave – Animal Call – The caller advised police that there were two dogs that had been left unattended in a parked car. When officers spoke to the owner, they stated that the animals were only out there for a few minutes while they were getting the house ready. Animal services were made aware.
24-002651 – 3200 BLK Old Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – While on patrol in the 800 block of S Germantown Road officers observed a Chevy Camaro driving extremely recklessly, traveling more than 80 mph in a 40-mph zone. A man was issued a misdemeanor citation for reckless driving.
24-002654 – 5300 BLK Dupont St – Suspicious Vehicle – The caller advised police there was a vehicle that they did not recognize parked at their neighbor’s house. An unknown male exited the vehicle and began to go up to the house and look in the windows. Police contacted the suspect in the vehicle. They stated that they were there to pick someone up, but the person gave them the wrong address.
24-002656 – 20 BLK S. Germantown Road – Arrest-Warrant – While assisting Chattanooga PD with a crash at this location, Chattanooga PD informed officers of a party having active warrants out of East Ridge. Police confirmed the warrant for Vandalism and transported the man to jail without further incident.
24-002657 – 1500 BLK Springvale Road – Suspicious Activity – The reporting party stated that they heard someone outside their window and went to investigate. When they opened the blinds to the window two unknown suspects ran south on Springvale. Police searched the area, and nothing was located.
Day Shift March 2
24-002665- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised of a homeless male laying on the sidewalk. Officers encountered the man who was checked for warrants and given a courtesy ride to Brainard Road.
24-002667- 1100 BLK South Saint Marks Avenue- Alarm- Police responded to check the residence. The homeowner advised the alarm was accidental.
24-002673- 800 BLK Poindexter Avenue- Burglary- The caller advised that sometime between 1340 hours and 1400 hours an unknown person attempted to enter the residence. Nothing appeared missing. There was no camera footage.
Night Shift March 2
24-002686,24-002687 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with an improperly displayed license plate. Following the encounter a man was taken into custody on an outstanding East Ridge warrant. While in transport to the jail the man attempted to flee by slipping his handcuffs and managed to open a patrol car door. After a short foot pursuit, he was taken back into custody and transported to the jail without incident. He was subsequently charged with assault on police, resisting arrest, evading arrest, and escape.
24-002701 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop at this location a man was taken into custody after being found to be in possession of 10.8 grams of meth. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on suspended, criminal impersonation and driving on roadways laned for traffic.
24-002685 – 1000 Bass Pro Drive – Shoplifting – A male stole two pair of Oakley sunglasses before leaving with a female and two juveniles in a White Chevy Z71. The primary suspect was identified, and warrants being sought.
24-002690 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Backup Police – Police received a tip from Chattanooga Police that a possible shooting suspect vehicle, a white Dodge Charger, was in the drive through line. Police contacted the vehicle, but it did not confirm as the vehicle involved with the shooting.
24-002694 – Mack Smith Road – Alarm – Police heard an audible alarm at the laundry while performing a routine patrol and observed a homeless male in the parking lot. The laundry had no signs of forced entry or vandalism. Police conducted a field interview on the man.
24-002695 – Camp Jordan Pkwy @ Bass Pro Drive – Field Interview – While performing patrol on Camp Jordan Parkway, police intercepted a party on foot who appeared to be a juvenile who was out in the early morning hours. Police conducted a field interview.
24-002696 – 1400 BLK Saint Thomas Street – Unconscious Party – Police responded to an unconscious party at the motel. The victim regained consciousness after 4mg of Narcan was administered. Two parties were arrested for drug paraphernalia.
24-002702 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Assault Delayed – Police responded to this location and spoke to RP and her minor-aged sister regarding a delayed assault complaint that took place on S Seminole Dr. The investigation is ongoing.
24-002705 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-Traffic – A woman was arrested for Red Light Violation, Misuse of 911, and Driving on Suspended License.
24-002708- 4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Activity- While on patrol officers were flagged down by the reporting party and advised of people fighting at the restaurant. Officers found no disorder upon response.
24-002714- 4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder- The caller advised a customer was refusing to pay for his order then complained of chest pains. Officers spoke with the customer until EMS arrived. He was transported to the hospital.
Night Shift March 3
24-002716 – 1100 S St Marks Avenue – Backup Fire – Police stood-by while ERFD handled a small brush fire in a resident’s back yard.
24-002722 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Citizen Assist – Police provided a patrol vehicle in the parking lot at the manager’s request during 2230 – 2300 hours due to suspicious activity the previous night involving drug paraphernalia beside the dumpsters. Police also searched the area surrounding the dumpsters, but no drug paraphernalia was observed.
Day Shift March 4
24-002734 – 3600 BLK Hellen Lane – Miscellaneous – Police contacted a man at this location regarding dumping of prohibited refuse in a posted no dumping area. He was advised of city codes as well as state laws regarding dumping of various prohibited items. He stated others in the area were responsible as well for dumping. He was advised if he witnessed prohibited dumping to notify police. Contact was made with the city sign department to make and post signs in Spanish stating no dumping was allowed in that area.
24-002731 – 4300 BLK Bennett Road – Assault – Police spoke with the East Ridge High School SSO, who advised there was an assault between two juveniles. Officers spoke with the school administration, and they stated the father of the alleged victim wanted to press charges. Police also spoke with the SRO, who advised they would address the situation when he returns to duty.
24-002742 – 300 BLK Windmere Drive – Suspicious Person- A resident of Ridgeside called police to report a suspicious male standing in front of this residence. Police located him as he was walking from the back yard to the front. Police determined he was homeless and did not belong on the property. He advised to grab his belongings and move along.
Night Shift March 4
24-002760 – 4400 BLK Bennett Road – Miscellaneous Complaint – Officers spoke with a woman after she called Hamilton County 911 advising she had punished her brother who had taken a firearm to school the same day. Officers spoke with the School Resource Officer who advised he was notified by school administrators and would be conducting a follow-up investigation.
24-002770 – 2400 BLK Williams Street – Warrant Service – A man was served an Alias Capias for Driving on Revoked while in the custody of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. While being processed at the jail, he was found to have concealed narcotics. The narcotics have been entered into ERPD Property and Evidence. HCSO Narcotics Unit has been notified and advised they would retrieve the narcotics for prosecution.
24-002764 – 3600 BLK Fountain Avenue – Suspicious Vehicle – Police responded to this location referencing a vehicle horn continuously sounding. Upon contacting the passenger, police found him to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Police seized the marijuana and reunited him with his sister so they could vacate the complex.
24-002765 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Wellbeing Check – Police responded to this address for a wellbeing check. Upon arrival, police spoke with a man who advised he had just been discharged from the hospital and requested a ride to the shelter. A field interview was conducted, and he was then given a courtesy ride to the Community Kitchen.
24-002754 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road #291 – Back EMS – Police responded to the above address for an overdose. Upon arrival police spoke with a woman about a man taking 32 of her Alprazolam an hour prior. Police were able to wake him. He was able to fully wake up and answer questions. He stated that he had disposed of the medication but did not specify how. The man was transported by EMS.
24-002772 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – While conducting speed enforcement on I-75 southbound police observed a vehicle traveling at 82 mph in a 55mph. Police placed the driver under arrest for driving under the influence and reckless driving. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
No Number Assigned – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop police took a woman custody for warrant out of sessions court. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
