Day Shift February 27
24-002489- 5000 BLK South Terrace- Indecent Exposure- The caller advised of a male exposing himself in the lot. On scene officers located the male on the Chattanooga Side of the parking lot. Officers did not observe anything obscene. CPD was notified.
24-002493- 6100 BLK Ringgold Road- Commercial Fire- Police responded with ERFD on a fire at this location. Officers evacuated the business. Police stood by while ERFD handled the call.
24-002497- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft- The resident reported that on 02/26 a female suspect came up to his car yelling odd things, then proceeded to get into his car. Later that evening, he noticed that the female stole his Chromebook out of his vehicle.
24-002500- 900 BLK Marlboro Avenue- Suspicious Person- A man was reported to be strolling down Marlboro Avenue screaming at the sky. Police contacted him, and he stated he was just jamming out to some music. He offered the police the opportunity to listen along to his tunes. He was sent on his way.
Night Shift February 27
24-002511 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Stolen Vehicle / Aggravated Assault on Police / Felony Evading / Pursuit – Officers responded to the area following a stolen vehicle alert via automatic license plate readers. Officers located the vehicle in the drive-thru. Officers conducted a felony stop on the vehicle as it exited the drive-thru. While officers issued verbal commands to surrender, the suspect looked at the avenue of escape, then looked back at officers, turned the vehicle’s wheels towards officers and their marked patrol vehicles, and accelerated towards officers nearly striking an officer on foot while striking and pushing a police vehicle. Officers shortly pursued the vehicle but were terminated. The case has been taken over by CID. The incident and suspect/vehicle have been BOLO’d to surrounding agencies. Multiple felony charges are pending identification.
24-002508 – Ringgold Road @ San Hsi – Unknown Medical Emergency – Police were dispatched to a driver experiencing severe anxiety on Ringgold Road at San Hsi. Officers located her stopped in the turn lane on the way to Parkridge East Hospital with her five children in the car and unable to drive due to anxiety. Police contacted her mother who responded to pick up the children while EMS treated her on the roadside. She declined EMS transport and was released at the scene to her mother.
24-002512 – 3600 BLK Maiden Drive – Warrant Service – Police arrested a man for an active warrant for criminal responsibility for conduct of another. Police also arrested his wife for an active warrant for theft of property-including merchandise, and a petition to revoked warrant for possession of meth. Both were transported to The Hamilton County Jail.
24-002515 – Prigmore Road/Ringgold Road – Animal Call – Police responded to this location for a black horse on the loose. Police were not able to locate it at this time. The horse is believed to belong to a resident in GA.
24-002518 – 4214 Ringgold Rozd – Warrant Service – Police confirmed active warrants for a party for Forfeiture Capias and Failure to Appear. He was already in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
