Day Shift February 23
24-002329 – 5300 BLK Lazard Street – Warrant Service/Resisting/Harboring- ERPD had credible evidence that a Georgia fugitive and subject of several outstanding local warrants was at this residence. ERPD contacted two subjects, both of whom stated there was no one else in the residence and had no knowledge of fugitives. They declined to allow ERPD to search in the residence. ERPD applied for and was granted a search warrant “for the body of” the wanted man. He was located hiding under a bed and resisted arrest. Charges are pending on the residents for harboring a fugitive.
24-002334 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Shoplifting/Warrant Service- A man was arrested for shoplifting and on outstanding warrants for shoplifting. His companion was not charged today as he had not shoplifted but was identified as the person who had shoplifted in case 24-002182.
Night Shift February 23
24-002352 – 5600 Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop- Following a traffic stop, police took a man into custody and charged him with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Light Law Violation, and Financial Responsibility. He was taken to Hamilton County without incident.
24-002355 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Field Interview – Police conducted a traffic stop on a black Ford Explorer that has been seen stalking police on calls and traffic stops. Police identified the driver and conducted a field interview.
24-002354 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service- Police served a man with a Forfeiture Capias warrant for DUI and a Forfeiture Capias warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
22-011627 – 6400 BLK Bonny Oaks Drive – Stolen Vehicle Recovery – CPD reported the recovery of a stolen 2013 Toyota Camry following a vehicle crash in their jurisdiction. The vehicle was originally stolen in East Ridge in 2022 and was the property of a dealership. CPD will seek a warrant for possession of the stolen property. The vehicle was removed from NCIC.
24-002351 – 3800 BLK Ringgold Road — Narcotics Violation – Agents from the Alcoholic Beverage Commission reported two suspicious individuals outside of the bar and arcade. Police responded and located both standing outside their vehicle with the ABC agents. Police observed narcotics and drug paraphernalia in plain view in the vehicle. One was arrested and charged with possession of 0.8 grams of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The other was arrested and charged with possession of 2.75 ounces of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Day Shift February 24
24-002368- 4400 BLK Ringgold Rd. – Theft, Vandalism and Assault – ERPD responded on report of a woman fighting with another person and swinging a bicycle chain as a weapon. The proprietor’s wife stated a woman, took a bicycle chain from their premises. It was stated when she went after the shoplifter, she began swinging the chain as a weapon breaking the tail lamp of their trailer and then began beating their golf cart. The victim further stated that the suspect attacked, was shoved to the ground, and retreated. The woman was arrested and charged with Theft, Vandalism, Assault and issued a Criminal Trespass Warning.
24-002362 – 800 BLK Belvoir Cr Dr – Assist ERAS – Police responded to this residence after two canines absconded from their owner’s residence on Fountain Avenue and came to this location, where they happened upon a small child playing in his backyard. As the child attempted to interact with one of the animals, it was alleged it inflicted a minor bite on two of the child’s extremities. ERAS arrived and documented the incident, and the canines were released to their owner.
24-002365 – 940 BLK Spring Creek Road- Assist Other Agency- CPD requested ERPD attempt to locate information about a child born at this facility after the homeless mother was encountered. ERPD determined the child left with the mother and passed the information on to CPD.
Night Shift February 24
24-002389 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Hit and Run / DUI / Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on a Chevy Silverado that did not have its lights on and observed the driver to be intoxicated. While conducting the traffic stop, it was discovered that this vehicle had just fled a crash scene on Ringgold Rd. Police conducted Standardized Field Sobriety testing and determined the driver to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested for DUI and leaving the Scene of an Accident.
24-002393 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle – Police observed a black Range Rover sitting in the parking lot behind the business. Officers approached the vehicle and found a man standing next to it. He appeared intoxicated and an open container of alcohol and suspected Marijuana were in his vehicle. The party was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Simple Possession of Marijuana.
24-002373 – 1400 BLK St. Thomas Street – Domestic Assault – Police responded to a reported assault. An independent witness observed a male aggressively grab a female and pull her into his room. He was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault and Violation of a Protection Order.
Day Shift February 25
24-002396 – 3100 BLK Seminole Crest Lane – Mentally Disturbed – The homeowner stated there were many people in his residence who were not responding to his questions and were disappearing in and out. While on scene he stated, to ERPD, there were people he could see in the room, a woman, and several children. ERPD attempted to convince him otherwise. He agreed somewhat and went back to bed.
24-002398 – 6514 Ringgold Road – DUI / Arrest – A party was found unconscious behind the wheel of his vehicle. After consenting to a field sobriety test, he was believed to be intoxicated and was arrested for DUI. An arrest search found He also had 12.4GM of cocaine in his pocket.
24-002400/2401- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Shoplifting- Asset protection reported an unknown male concealed $901 worth of ammo on February 23 and concealed over $600 worth of ammo on another occasion in February, passing all points of sale. Warrants will be sought for the individual once identification is made.
24-002408- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Domestic Disorder- A juvenile called saying her mother had hit her and was attempting to fight her in the parking lot. The mother stated she was giving her juvenile daughter a driving lesson and her daughter started to cuss her and struck her in the face. The juvenile told police her mother had struck her in the head after getting mad about the driving lesson. Both parties told police they did not hit the other and no primary aggressor could be determined. Mom told police she was taking her daughter home, and she was going to finish her errands.
Night Shift February 25
24-002423 – 1300 BLK Orlando Avenue – Assist Fire – Officers responded to this address following a 911 call advising there was a fire in the brush. Police stood by while the fire department extinguished the flames.
24-002425 – 800 BLK S. Germantown Road – Suspicious Person – Police responded to the report of a man lying in the grass on the roadside. Police found that he fallen off a bicycle. Officers also found that he was intoxicated and did not know his whereabouts. The man was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-002430- 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – Police served a man with a forfeiture capias for driving on revoked license while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
24-002439- 900 BLK State Line Road – Suspicious activity – Police were called to this address for an unknown subject checking door handles of vehicles at the apartments. No damage was observed. The unknown subject fled east on State Line. Police were unable to locate anyone in the area.
24-002419 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Harassment – Police responded to this address for reports of a disgruntled ex-employee who was sending threats through text message. Police took out warrants for Harassment due to the threats made.
24-002438 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – Police served three East Ridge Forfeiture Capias’ for Possession of Marijuana, Possession. of Drug Paraphernalia, and Public Intoxication on a subject at the jail.
Day Shift February 26
24-002441- 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Disorder/Arrest- A party was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct following a disorder with police and hospital staff. He was transported to jail without incident.
24-002454- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road #291- AOA Warrant Service- A party was detained and transported on Collegedale warrants following a harassment investigation from Blackhawk Trail.
24-002458- 4500 BLK Bennett Road- Brush Fire- Police responded with ERFD on a brush fire. Officers directed traffic while ERFD extinguished the fire.
24-002459- 6400 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious People/AOA Warrant Service- While on patrol officers encountered two parties. One was found to have extraditable warrants out of Catoosa County. He was transported to jail without incident. The other subject was sent on her way.
Night Shift February 26
24-002466 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Shoplifting – Police responded to two shoplifters. Police identified the driver by her parent’s license plates. Both parties agreed to return the merchandise. They were arrested and released with misdemeanor citations. Both parties were criminally trespassed from Bass Pro Shop.
24-002471 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Police responded to a theft complaint at this address. Upon investigation police are seeking warrants for theft of property-conduct involving merchandise for the female suspect and criminal responsibility for conduct of another for her male accomplice after video evidence shows the two working together to steal a bottle of alcohol.
24-002476 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Narcotics Violation – Police responded to a wellness check for a medical complaint for dehydration. Police asked the complainant for consent to check his pockets for the safety of EMS and discovered illegal narcotics in his key pocket. He was arrested for Simple Possession.
