Day Shift February 14
24-001928 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Child Neglect – Officers responded on report of three unattended small children in a vehicle. The vehicle was found unsecure and running. Open cans of beer were observed in the center console. The parents were located inside the store. Both were charged with three counts of child neglect. One was also charged with possession of marijuana. Both parties were transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-001927 – 4000 BLK Dellway– Disorder – Police spoke with the residents who stated they had not been arguing but were only discussing politics. They also informed offices that they naturally speak loudly.
24-001926 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with East Ridge warrants for Alias Capias (Driving on Revoked/Suspended) at Hamilton County Jail.
24-001929 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Shoplifting – The business reported a shoplifter. The suspect vehicle was tracked down to Marion Avenue and a woman matching the description was interviewed but denied the theft. Warrants are being sought for her arrest.
Night Shift February 14
24-001940 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle– Wellbeing check – Police received a complaint of parties smoking meth with a child present. Police arrested a woman for possession of narcotics, poss. of drug paraphernalia, and child endangerment. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail. CID was notified of the incident.
24-001944 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI Arrest – A man was taken into custody after being found asleep behind the wheel of his motor vehicle at a gas pump. He was charged with driving under the influence and simple possession of marijuana.
24-001951 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with a Capias for Arrest of Probationer at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charge for the arrest warrant was Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale.
