Day Shift February 9
24-001683 – 1300 BLK St. Thomas St – Mental Health Consumer – Police responded to this address after the property manager called 9-1-1. According to the property manager, a tenant of this address called and stated his roommate was beating on the walls and yelling at him. Officers spoke with the property manager via telephone and were advised threatening statements had been made. Officers attempted to speak with the resident, however, he had barricaded himself in his bedroom and refused to speak with officers. After receiving several refusals officers made entry and placed the man into protective custody. He was transported for evaluation.
Night Shift February 9
24-001700 – 1200 BLK John Ross Road – Domestic Assault – Police were dispatched to a report of a domestic assault in progress at this address. Upon arrival, officers observed a male and female outside who appeared to be in an argument. The male party approached police and did not follow commands to stop. He had, after finishing a bottle of liquor, attacked his girlfriend and attempted to stab/punch their dog multiple times. He was arrested Domestic Assault, Resisting Arrest, and Cruelty to Animals.
24-001705 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest – Police responded to this address for a report of a woman attempting to leave while highly intoxicated. Police arrived and contacted the party. During the investigation, police discovered she works at a bar and drove to the restaurant after drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana while at work. She was arrested for Public Intoxication.
24-001708 – 1200 BLK Gleason Drive– Burglary in progress- Police responded to the above address after the caller witnessed 2 males with gloves and black face coverings force open the front door. When the police arrived, the suspects had already fled the area. The caller was not home at the time of the break-in; however, police spoke to her on the phone to gather details. Police took pictures and spoke with her cousin that arrived on scene. Charges pending upon identification of the suspects. CID was notified.
Day Shift February 10
No Number – 4214 Ringgold Road – Citizen Complaint – A citizen voiced concern over what he considered was an increase in the number of traffic stops he’s seen officers making over the weekend. It was his belief motorists were being stopped without probable cause. He was assured the stops were lawful and officers were merely attempting to change driving behavior. No significant crashes were reported Friday or Saturday during the day shift.
24-000918 – 1000 BLK South Seminole Drive – Arrest – ERPD observed a vehicle travelling in excess of the posted speed limit. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, despite a language barrier, stated he did not have a driver’s license. The driver had no form of identification and stated he had no issued State ID. No proof of insurance was available for the vehicle. The driver was arrested and booked as John Doe.
24-001728 – 5400 BLK Connell Street – Auto Theft – The victim stated his truck was stolen from an adjacent vacant lot. He last saw the vehicle the morning before. A records check determined the vehicle crashed the evening prior, at 2104 hours in the 4300 block of Tennessee Avenue and was abandoned.
24-001719 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police responded to the laundry due to a party asleep on a bench. Officers contacted a woman who was slumbering on a bench in the business. After waking the subject, her information was verified, and she was given a courtesy ride to the Community Kitchen.
24-001726 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police contacted a female camped at the gas station. She was identified and stated she was attempting to make her way to a Brainerd Road bus stop. She was assisted in relocating.
24-001736 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue – Narcotics – During a traffic stop for a broken brake light, approximately 21 grams of meth, approximately four grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were located. Two parties were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent (constructive possession), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Night Shift February 10
24-001760 – E 29th St. @ E 26th St. – Traffic Stop / DUI – Following a traffic stop at this location, a woman was taken into custody for driving under the influence and failing to maintain lane. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-001756 – 5400 BLK Marion Avenue – Well Being Check / Arrest – Police responded to the address to check on a party at the request of a male caller. Police found a prior history of harassment between these two parties following the end of their relationship. Police contacted him and explained that he could not use the police to harass her. He was also taken into custody on Hamilton County Warrants.
24-001741 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police responded to a suspicious person’s complaint. Inside the store, police located the man and determined he had been previously trespassed from the location. He was arrested for Criminal Trespassing and Public Intoxication.
24-001758 – 200 BLK Eads Street – DUI Crash – Police responded to a crash at the entrance of the apartments. Police found that a 2018 Nissan Kick had crashed into the front gate control box. The driver was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-001742 – 7600 BLK Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – Police served a woman with a Forfeiture Capias’ warrant for Possession of Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail by CPD.
Day Shift February 11
24-001768 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Citizen Assist – Officers assisted a group of citizens attempting to locate a dog that went missing after a traffic crash on Thursday night.
24-001776 – 3400 BLK Maple Creek Lane – Delayed Burglary – Police spoke with the complainant who stated he had two attempted burglary incidents on the dates of 02/10/2024 and 02/11/2024. The unknown suspects were attempting to forcefully enter through the rear patio door and the front steel mesh door in both of those incidents. He was not able to give any description of the suspects.
24-001773 – 1500 BLK Karwill Lane – Assist CPD w/Crash Investigation – CPD requested ERPD check this address for two males who fled a crash on I-24. No people matching the description provided were located.
24-001767 – 300 BLK Shepard Avenue – Well Being Check – Police were dispatched to this location after a resident of Ridgeside observed an unknown female in the park pavilion requesting help. An officer spoke with the female who stated she had been out in the elements all night and requested medical evaluation. She was transported at her request.
24-001764 – 1500 BLK McDonald Road – Alarm – Officers responded to this residence for multiple alarm activations. On arrival, officers spoke with the homeowner who advised it was accidental.
24-001772 – 6500 BLK Slater Road – Suspicious Person – After receiving information of a suspicious male, wearing a dark sweatshirt and blue jeans yelling and screaming, officers located the subject at the coin laundry. He was from out of the area and advised he and his girlfriend had an argument. He was upset and trying to calm himself. Police advised him to make amends and rejoin his girlfriend.
Night Shift February 11
24-001790 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Trespass – Three parties were trespassed by management after bringing in personal alcohol. When confronted, the parties created a disorder and were asked to leave.
24-001793 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Trespass – Officers responded to this location on a reported fight. Officers spoke with the alleged parties involved and, after being lied to consistently by the alleged victim, management advised parties involved to leave. Management declined to trespass the parties.
24-001798 – 1300 BLK Wright Street – Public Intoxication – Officers responded to this address after a juvenile advised dispatch his father was chasing him. Officers observed an intoxicated male at a residence where he was not welcome. He was placed in custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-001786 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Shoplifting – Police responded to a theft in progress. Upon arrival, police observed the suspect leave the store and walk behind a kayak display. Police detained the individual and found a Gerber knife still in the package near the kayaks. The man was detained and issued a Misdemeanor Citation in Lieu of Arrest for shoplifting.
24-001794 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Trespass / Arrest – Police responded for a party refusing to leave after multiple requests by management. Police arrived but the man continued to refuse to leave. When police attempted to escort him out of the restaurant, he turned towards police and raised his right hand as if to strike an officer before being subdued and handcuffed. The party was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct.

24-001817- 6100 BLK Bermuda Avenue- Suspicious Person- The caller advised of an unknown female walking around the house at this address. Officers checked the area, but the female was not located.
Night Shift February 12
24-001833 – 3500 BLK Cathy Ln – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle as pulled into the residence at this address. The driver was identified and found to have a suspended driver’s license. Police spoke with the homeowners who stated they did not know the man. He was arrested for Driving on a Suspended License (Habitual Offender) and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-001841 – 3800 BLK Ringgold Road – Intoxicated Person / Arrest – Police responded to the report of an intoxicated female outside of the restaurant. Police found the woman on the sidewalk, and she appeared to be very intoxicated. She was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to Hamilton County Jail.

24-001863- 5500 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a homeless person was sleeping in the restroom. On scene the homeless male was advised to leave the property.
24-001873- 5400 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a homeless male was sleeping behind the business. Officers located the man who was checked for warrants and sent on his way.
24-001877- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Shoplifting- The caller advised of a male attempting to take items from the store without paying. He was issued a misdemeanor citation and a criminal trespass warning.
Night Shift February 13
24-001892 – 3900 BLK Fountain Avenue – Suspicious Person/Arrest – Police responded to this location for reports of two individuals walking around the resident’s home and looking in their vehicles. Police located and arrested them for criminal trespassing and public intoxication.
24-001904- 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Field Interview – A male and female were observed searching through items in front of the closed gas station. Both parties were identified and advised of City Ordinances against tampering with trash.
24-001912 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Two parties were discovered sleeping in a truck parked in the construction area behind a hotel. Police discovered drug paraphernalia in plain view. The female party was arrested and released on a cite for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
