Day Shift February 2
24-001378- 4300 BLK Bennett Road- Drug Offense- The SRO was on routine patrol at the school when the odor of marijuana was noticed emitting from the janitorial closet. Inside a backpack was observed. The bag was found to belong to a party. The suspect said there was marijuana in the bag. He was issued a misdemeanor citation, and the drugs were put in property.
24-001391- 300 BLK Dunlap Avenue- Vehicle Fire- The caller advised of a vehicle fire in the lot. It was found the vehicle was not on fire but was overheating.
Night Shift February 2
23-010890 – 7600 BLK Standifer Gap Road – Arrest-Warrant – A man was arrested on Theft of Property (Conspiracy).
24-001404 – 1000 BLK S. Seminole Drive – Arrest-DUI –Police conducted a traffic stop and discovered the driver was heavily intoxicated. The driver was arrested and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
24-001409 – 5600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – A motorcycle operated by a male fled from police when a traffic stop was attempted. Secondary units located the motorcycle, and an arrest was made for Felony Evading, Reckless Driving, and Expired Registration.
24-001411 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway, Parkridge Camp Jordan – Stolen Vehicle Recovery – A stolen vehicle hit the Camp Jordan Parkway LPR and confirmed stolen out of New Orleans Police Department. The vehicle was towed for return to EAN Holdings, LLC.
24-001413 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Assist another Agency – Staff called requesting assistance with a recently discharged patient who is not from the area. The patient wanted to go to the Chattanooga Mission. After a warrant check, the patient was transported to Hamilton County Jail on a warrant out of Indiana.
Day Shift February 3
24-001424- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Possible Theft- Police spoke with an employee who stated sometime during the week an unknown male came into the store and stole some knives by placing them inside his pants as he walked out. Unfortunately, cameras were unable to capture the theft. It was also stated today the same man came into the store and was standing by the ax hardware looking around. The employee stated he did not take anything but wanted him trespassed from the store. Police contacted the male who was advised he was trespassed from the property and the consequences if he returned. Police escorted him out of the business with no further incident.
24-001425- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft- The caller advised an unknown person took her wallet from her purse while she was shopping. On scene police looked at video of the incident. An unknown male was observed reaching into the caller’s purse and taking the wallet. He was then observed leaving the store with two other males. They entered a white SUV and left the property. The caller advised her credit cards had already been used at the East Ridge Walmart.
24-001426- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Fraud- Police responded to the business while investigating the above theft. On scene officers watched video of the suspects attempting to use the stolen cards. Charges pending identification.
Night Shift February 3
24-001454 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop, and the vehicle came to a stop in Fort Oglethorpe city limits. The driver resisted arrest. He was taken into custody by Fort Oglethorpe police, and a hold was placed. Warrants for DUI, Reckless Driving, Evading Arrest, Resisting Arrest, Speeding, and Following too closely have been issued. He was transported to Catoosa County Jail.
24-001455 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A party had an active warrant for Forfeiture Capias—Possession of Sch II Crack Cocaine. Chattanooga PD transported him to the jail. ERPD faxed paperwork to the jail accordingly.
24-001456 – 3600 BLK Weldon Road – Noise Complaint – Residents complained of noise coming from a local business. The owner of the nightclub demonstrated for police with a sound meter the noise level was below 70 decibels outside the door.
Night Shift February 4
No Number – 5000 BLK S. Terrace – Urban Camping – Police located three homeless parties behind the theater with a fire. They were identified and advised to leave the property after extinguishing the fire.
24-001483 – 900 BLK Donaldson Road – Domestic Assault – A woman was arrested and taken to jail for assaulting her granddaughter.
24-001485 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – MVC No Injuries – Following a crash, a man was taken into custody for Driving under the influence, Leaving the scene of an accident and No driver License He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-001489 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-Drugs – A man was found to have seven outstanding warrants out of Hamilton County. After probable cause search of his person and vehicle, he was charged with possession of cocaine for resale, possession of fentanyl for resale, simple possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Day Shift February 5
24-001514- 5700 BLK Ringgold Road- Found Property- Employees found a substantial sum of cash on the bench outside of the business. The cash was placed into property and evidence.
24-001512 – 800 BLK Summit Avenue – DUI – Police were investigating the delinquency of a juvenile on Summit (24-001510). While on scene, the mother of the juvenile arrived on scene. She was arrested and charged with DUI.
24-001510 – 4300 BLK Bennett Road – Reckless Endangerment – Police observed a vehicle on the back parking lot of the high school occupied by four males. The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed through the parking lot and over an embankment. A juvenile in the vehicle was pleading with the driver to stop. The driver, another juvenile, refused and the male juvenile exited the vehicle while it was in motion. The driver and vehicle were located a short time later. The driver was taken into custody and charged with false imprisonment and reckless endangerment.
24-001501 – 700 BLK Bacon Trail – Warrant Service- Police executed outstanding warrants for simple assault. The subject was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift February 5
24-001529 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / DUI – Following a traffic stop at this location a woman was taken into custody for driving under the influence and failing to maintain lane. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-001525 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – A party was served with three Forfeiture Capias and one Alias Capias arrest warrants at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charges were Criminal Impersonation and three counts of Driving on a Suspended License.
23-009615 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with eight arrest warrants at the Hamilton County Jail. The charges included Evading Arrest, Driving on Suspended, Criminal Impersonation, Financial Responsibility, Driving an Unregistered Vehicle., Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale, Possession of Methamphetamine while Driving, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, False Reporting, and Expired Registration.
24-001524 – 500 BLK Layfield Road – Deceptive Practice – Officers responded to this address after a caller advised he sent an obscene picture to an individual he met on social media. After sending the picture, the individual demanded $500 from the caller otherwise they would post the picture to the caller’s Facebook and send the pictures to the caller’s family and friends. Officers are attempting to identify the individual and will seek prosecution once identified.
24-001528 -3600 BLK Fountain Avenue – Domestic Disorder – Police arrested a man for Domestic assault against his roommate.
