Day Shift January 3

24-000102- 1400 BLK Mack Smith- Theft – The caller reported missing her hydrocodone pills sometime after a housekeeper had cleaned her room. She advised the last time she had seen her pills was around 04:00 this morning when she took one. She stated they were on her nightstand at that time. The empty bottle was in the bathroom on the countertop. The Executive Director stated they were starting an internal investigation to speak with all housekeepers. She advised that after some recent hires there have been things coming up missing from other residents’ rooms.

24 – 000092 – 1600 BLK Springvale Avenue – Illegal Dumping – While patrolling the area an officer noticed someone had dumped tires and a sofa at Springvale Park. The sanitation department responded and removed the items.

24-000100 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police observed a man practicing his martial arts skills in the middle turn lane of Ringgold Rd. He was advised to conduct his training in a park or field not in the roadway.

23-000110 – 3500 BLK Mimbro Lane – Deceptive Practice – Complainant called advising his ex-girlfriend used credit card information after she was given it to pay rent in the past. The complainant stated he discovered his girlfriend was cheating on him and stated he wanted the money back for paying the rent. Police advised him to contact the rental property and his bank to refund the money back to his account.

23-000112 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Lost Property Recovery – Police responded to this location after employees reported a suspect was across the street from the location and possibly was in possession of a stolen dealer plate from an earlier call. Police located him with his girlfriend in an older model black Dodge Durango. Upon verifying the dealer tag, it was found it had been reported lost out of Chattanooga from 2022. He gave police consent to search his vehicle but did not locate the earlier reported lost plate. Both parties’ information was verified, and they were released. The dealer tag was removed from NCIC and placed into property and evidence.

24-000115 – 3500 BLK Brainerd Road – Assist CPD – CPD requested ERPD assist, Emergency Traffic , to a medical emergency involving MED16.

24-000085 – 700 BLK S Sweetbriar Avenue – Water Main Break – A Water Main Break created a slight traffic hazard due to icing conditions.

Night Shift January 3

NO NUMBER ASSIGNED – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle – Police observed a green Nissan SUV parked in the parking lot. Upon approaching the vehicle, police discovered it to be completely covered in writing by the owner. Police contacted the occupant, who stated she was currently in litigation with Joe Biden. She was sent on her way.

24-000132 – 200 BLK Eads Street– Domestic Disorder – Police responded to an open line on an argument that could be heard. Police contacted the RP who stated that she was there to confront her current boyfriend who was in his apartment with another woman. Parties were separated for the evening.

24-000121 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to this address following a report of a suspicious person possibly panhandling inside of the store. Police contacted the man and gave him a courtesy ride to 727 E. 11th St. at his request.

24-000146 – Waterhouse Street / State Line Road – Assist Other Agency – Police responded to this area for a vehicle that crashed into the ditch, before being abandoned by the driver. An open 40 ounce bottle was on the passenger side floorboard but no occupants could be located. As the crash occurred on the GA side, Catoosa County and GSP were notified.

24-000137 – 1500 BLK McBrien Road – Suspicious Person – Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked behind the church. Officers located a male sleeping in the vehicle who stated he had a dispute with a family member and decided to leave for the night. Police found no active warrants.

24-000129 – 1600 BLK S. Seminole Drive – Disorder – Police responded to a disorder at this address between a woman and her aunt. Officers spoke with both parties and found the disorder was verbal only.
