Day Shift December 19
23-016023- 1000 BLK John Ross Road- Suspicious Person/Arrest- School staff called in as a mother was attempting to pick up her sick son and she smelled of alcohol. Upon initial contact police smelled alcohol coming and noted slurred speech. Her vehicle was parked in the pickup line and there was no one else in the vehicle. She admitted to driving to the school. The woman submitted to SFST and performed poorly. She was arrested and charged with DUI and implied consent violation.
23-016013- 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Disorder/AOA Warrant Service- A man was detained and transported to jail on a Hamilton County warrant following a disorder at the hospital.
23-016021- 1400 BLK Choate Road- Suspicious Person/Arrest- A man was arrested and transported on drug charges following a suspicious person call at this location.
23-016022- 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Vandalism- The caller advised an unknown suspect busted a window at the ropes course. Report on file.
23-016025- 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue- Disorder with a Weapon- On arrival, the police spoke with the caller. She advised a woman had come into the office and threatened her with a weapon and violence. While speaking with her, the suspect came back into the office to speak with the officers. She advised they had a disagreement over the rent, but she didn’t threaten. Police also spoke with a witness. Both denied causing a disorder. The manager stated she wanted the suspect trespassed from the property.
Night Shift December 19
23-016039 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Two parties were trespassed after a verbal confrontation occurred over a pizza order.
23-016044 – 4900 BLK Maryland Drive– Vandalism – Police responded to an initial report of domestic disorder. Upon further investigation, a man was cited for vandalism at this location and trespassed.
23-016048 – 3700 BLK Connelly Street – Animal Call – Neighbors called to report a German shepherd mix dog was being choked at the house next door. The neighbor was able to cut the dog free from its tether. Police observed the animals to be in a state of neglect but safe for the time being. Animal control was deferred to return during daylight hours.
23-016051 – Welcome Center 75 NB – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to this location for a truck driver possibly unconscious. Upon arrival it was discovered that the driver was not unconscious but asleep. The driver moved along.
23-016053 – 900 BLK McBrien Road – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop, police took a woman into custody on active warrants out of Collegedale PD.
