Day Shift November 22

23-014774 – 3600 BLK Old Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – A motorist reported a male was walking on South Germantown Road wearing a full military vest. The man was encountered, armed and carrying many loaded magazines, rucksack and plate vest. He stated this is how he likes to take walks in the early morning.

23-014793 – 300 Camp Jordan Road – Suspicious Activity – Officers responded to a report of a party in a black sedan checking packages on people’s porches. The vehicle was not located.

Night Shift November 22

23-014811—San Hsi Drive/ Ringgold Road—Traffic Stop/Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop. The driver was cited for speeding and driving on a suspended license. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail for warrants out of East Ridge for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Schedule I (MDMA).

23-014816 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police responded to this address regarding a suspect of a prior crime being on scene. Police contacted the suspect and found him to have three open warrants out of Sessions Court. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

23-104815- 3900 BLK Bennett Road – Disorder with a Weapon – Police were dispatched to the above address for a disorder with a weapon. Upon speaking with two parties, police determined the altercation to be verbal in nature. Police observed one party having self-inflicted cuts on his left wrist. Police took him into protective custody and transported him to for a Mental Health Evaluation without incident.

Day Shift November 23

23-014841 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder – Police were dispatched to a disorder. The reporting party stated a party, who had just been discharged from the hospital, was begging for money in the parking lot and refusing to leave. The man was wheelchair bound and unable to roll himself. An officer pushed him to Brainerd Rd at his request.

23-014842 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Arrest – Officers responded in reference to a theft in progress. Contact was made with the suspect as he exited the store. He was found to be in possession of $9-worth of beef jerky concealed in his pants. The man displayed obvious signs of impairment. Police located a small bag of methamphetamine, a glass pipe, burned foil and a straw with white residue on his person. He was taken into custody and charged with theft, public intoxication, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

23-014837- 5300 BLK Weaver Street – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to a call of suspicious activity. Officers Spoke with the reporting party who stated she had video footage of an unidentified woman roaming around her yard and carport. She stated she also had a missing key box, which was located under her Bronco but was unsure if it was either stolen or simply missing.

Night Shift November 23

23-014846 – 4000 BLK Bennett Road – Aggravated Assault – Police responded to a report of multiple people fighting at a residence. It was determined that the suspect choked his mother. He was arrested for aggravated assault. Conditions of release were served to both parties.

23-014859 – 3400 BLK Crabtree Drive – Hit and Run / Property Damage – Police responded to Crabtree Drive @ South Seminole Drive in reference to a crash. The vehicle fled from the scene after hitting the fire hydrant. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a silver truck that left a piece of its bumper and sideview mirror on scene. Fire Department was notified of the downed fire hydrant.

23-014844 – 1000 BLK Wynnwood Road – Domestic Assault – Police responded to this address for a Domestic Disorder and found that a man assaulted his mother by pushing her during a verbal argument. She fell to the floor and struck her head on a bed frame which resulted in a minor injury. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail. The Conditions of Release were delivered.

23-014851 – 5000 BLK Newport Drive – Theft from Vehicle – Police responded to this location to take report of a theft from a vehicle. While investigating, it was discovered multiple items were taken without the consent of the owner. Police are still investigating.

Day Shift November 24

23-014879- 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Narcotic Incident- While at the hospital a nurse found methamphetamine in an ICU room where a patient on a CON hold by medical staff was located. The patient was brought to the hospital by an ambulance service. It was observed in a small baggy with a crystal substance suspected to be methamphetamine. Police cannot place the substance directly in the possession of the patient. Charges will not be filed due to this. The suspect meth was placed in the narcotic storage for destruction.

Night Shift November 24

23-014898 – 5000 BLK Newport Drive – Vandalism – The reporting party called police to report that her ex-boyfriend had vandalized her property by throwing things out into the front yard of his home and was getting photos of the mess via text. Police observed various belongings in the front yard and sidewalk. He answered the front door wearing body armor with an inert grenade on his vest. He was intoxicated but cooperative and he agreed to pick up the belongings from the yard and return them inside the home. The RP identified a broken jewelry box valued at $300. She recovered her two dogs and her white sedan. She told police she would return after the man was sober to recover her other belongings. The suspect was cited in lieu of arrest for vandalism.

23-014904 – Sewanee Drive @ Oakdale Drive – Fleeing Vehicle – While traveling westbound on Ringgold Road, officers observed a white, rusted, older model Chevrolet Silverado traveling eastbound on Ringgold Road at 66 mph. Officers attempted to stop this vehicle. While turning around to stop the violator, the vehicle fled from officers northbound on Sewanee Drive. Officers were unable to obtain any further description of the vehicle or its occupant.

Day Shift November 25

23-014913- 5300 BLK Lazard Street- Disorder Prevention/Warrant Service- The caller requested police stand by while she gathered her belongings. Officers encountered a female at the residence. While standing by police were made aware of a possible warrant for her arrest. The warrant verified and she was arrested and transported to jail.

Night Shift November 25

23-014680 (S2) – 1000 BLK S Seminole Drive – Auto Burglary & Theft from Vehicle – An anonymous caller advised police they recognized the suspect on ERPD Face Book page involved in the theft on S Seminole last week. Police located his information on Cop Link and matched his identity to surveillance images from the crime. Supplement to the incident was created identifying the suspect. Warrants will be taken for his arrest.

23-014932 – 5400 BLK Connell Street – Missing Endangered – An older gentleman was reported to be lost by his friend and employer. Police used cell phone info to find his location. He was found to be driving between Atlanta and Athens, GA. A BOLO for missing and endangered was created by NCIC.

23-014933 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Officers received a hit on a license plate reader for a stolen U-Haul van in the 600 block of Camp Jordan Parkway. Officers located the vehicle at the intersection of Saint Thomas Street and Ringgold Road. After conducting a traffic stop on the vehicle in the 6600 block of Ringgold Road a woman was taken into custody for theft over $10,000.

23-014937 – Franklin Place – Assault-Domestic – A man was arrested for Domestic Assault against girlfriend and arrested for assaulting the victim’s friend. He was taken to jail without incident.

Day Shift November 26

23-014932 – 5400 BLK Connell Street- Missing Endangered- The missing elderly male was located in Polk County. He was removed from NCIC.

23-014953- 3500 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Vehicle- The caller advised of an older van parked on the lot which appeared to be full of cats. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.

23-014955- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person/Theft – The caller advised a male shoplifted meat. En route to the call dispatch advised a male wearing a dark colored possibly navy jacket with a yellow hoodie had been observed stealing meat approximately an hour prior and now he was back on scene. Dispatch advised the suspect left after concealing two packs of hotdogs and was last seen heading westbound on foot towards East Ridge Elementary School. Employees stated the male was observed concealing unknown miscellaneous items on his person. While he was walking out the foyer of the grocery store, he was confronted. She advised after a short struggle the male fled the store. Currently, it is unclear what and how much merchandise the suspect stole. The store was also was unable to provide video footage of the suspect concealing items.

Night Shift November 26

23-014969 – 900 BLK McBrien Road – SIA/Arrest – Police contacted a male subject after observing the man to not have proper lighting equipment on his bicycle. Following the encounter, he was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for theft out of Whitefield County, Georgia.

23-014972 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic-Warrant – A party was stopped for a tag light violation and found to be driving on suspended. He also had a verified warrant out of East Ridge for Alias Capias in reference to violation of Driving on Suspended dated 11/16/23. He was arrested on a new charge for Driving on Suspended and transported to jail.

Day Shift November 27

23-014988- 5300 BLK Rose Street- Aggravated Burglary/ Aggravated Assault- The victim reported unknown subjects kicked in her door and fired multiple gun shots at her before she fled through the back door. According to neighbors the suspects fled the scene in a blacked-out Dodge Durango. Investigation is ongoing.

23-014987 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest – Police responded to a report of a male subject vandalizing the air pump at the market. Officers located the suspect in a nearby business where he was observed attempting to shoplift items. He refused several police commands and resisted arrest. He was taken into custody after a brief struggle and charged with vandalism, theft and resisting arrest.

23-014990- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Vehicle- Police were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle. Officers located three occupants of the vehicle. One was found to have verified warrants out of East Ridge for driving on revoked. He was transported jail.

23-014999- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A man was served multiple East Ridge warrants while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

Night Shift November 27

23-015010 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Road – Well Being Check – The manager reported an older male had spent approximately 12 hours inside the business and only bought one meal. The older male told the restaurant staff he was waiting for someone to pick him up. Police responded to the location and found the man had left the restaurant a few minutes prior to their arrival. Officers checked the area and did not locate the individual.

23-015008 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Property damage / Hit and Run – Police observed a traffic collision followed by an involved vehicle fleeing the scene. The vehicle that fled appeared to be a dark in color coupe with loud exhaust with front end damage. The vehicle fled north on S. Moore Road.
