Day Shift November 7
23-014099- 3500 BLK Connelly Lane- Suspicious Vehicle- The caller advised an unknown Honda Accord was parked in his driveway blocking his car. Officers checked the vehicle through dispatch. It was not reported stolen. The property owner had the vehicle towed.
23-014104- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft- The reporting party advised an unknown male entered the store, took several items, and walked out. As the police spoke with her, she identified the subject standing on the roadway. Police contacted the subject who passively resisted officer orders and failed to comply with commands. Police detained him safely. He was transported to the East Ridge Police Department for paperwork and on to the Hamilton County Jail for further processing.
23-014111- 4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Burglary- At approximately 0615 hours a man entered through the rear door of the business. While in the storage area the male is observed picking up cleaning supplies and a small box of tools. The total value of the stolen items is approximately one hundred dollars ($100). The male was viewed on camera but had a mask and head covering on.
Night Shift November 7
23-014133 – 3400 Lisa Drive– Theft – Police responded in reference to a theft that occurred the previous day. A man dressed as an HVAC worker got into the residence and stole approximately $2.500 in cash, the keys to a 2015 Chevy Camaro, and the apartment keys. There are no suspects currently.
23-014139 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Mentally Disturbed – Police responded to a female party experiencing a panic attack. Police advised the party to leave her vehicle in a parking spot and to retrieve it later. She was picked up by a friend and taken home without incident.
23-014143 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Citation / Seized Property – Police observed a vehicle improperly parked with no visible handicapped placard. The driver was very non-compliant and, after confirming she had a suspended driver’s license, was cited. After the suspected owner arrived on scene, she refused to show identification and the vehicle was towed.
23-014145 – 1300 BLK St Thomas St – Disorder – Police responded for a disorder at the residence. A man had been released from custody and attempted to go inside his room. It was unknown to him that he was evicted from the property. It is known that his case was resolved in court today and the TOP was not valid at the time of the incident. Due to his cognitive impairments, he did not understand why he couldn’t be there. After explaining the situation and getting him in contact with the resident coordinator they established that they could help facilitate another room for him. He was asked to leave the property and to contact the resident coordinator for further action.
