Day Shift November 3
23-013925- 3400 BLK Missionaire Ave-Warrant Service- A man was arrested on multiple East Ridge and Federal warrants.
No Number – 900 BLK State Line Rd – Auto Trespass/Watch – A resident at this location reported their vehicle was entered by unknown subject, but advised nothing was taken and did not want a report. The caller requested the area be placed on a watch list.
23-013913 – 900 BLK State Line Rd– Auto Trespass – The victim reported an unknown subject entered her unsecured vehicle sometime between the evening and this morning but did not remove any items.
Night Shift November 3
23-013948 – 900 BLK State Line Rd. – Found Property – Officers responded to the apartment complex in reference to found property. Officers recovered a digital camera sitting on a patio and the source of the camera was unknown. The camera was placed in the Property and Evidence Room.
23-013950 – 5700 BLK Roper St. – Disorder / Criminal Trespass – Officers responded to a verbal disorder at this location. The disorder appeared to be escalating to a physical altercation as officers arrived in the area. Police de-escalated the situation and found the two individuals were dating, but the male party was possibly seeing another female. The male party advised he wanted to criminally trespass the female from his residence. The female party was issued a criminal trespass warning, and she left the premises.
23-013954 – 3500 BLK Ringgold RD – DUI / Arrest – Police observed a vehicle driving 63mph in a 40mph zone. The officer initiated a traffic stop and found the driver to be intoxicated. He admitted to drinking and completed a standard field sobriety test. The man was taken to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
23-013961 – 183 Interstate 24 EB – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody when police located 1.64 grams of suspected Fentanyl and paraphernalia in his vehicle. He was charged with Possession of Sch II and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Day Shift November 4
23-013973 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Dr – Theft/Evading – Police responded after asset protection reported three males stealing ammunition. On arrival, police attempted to contact the subjects as they exited the store, however, they fled to an awaiting 2019 maroon/red Mazda CX-5 and left the parking lot at a high rate of speed and were last observed entering the interstate. Warrants are pending identification of the parties.
23-013983 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Suspicious Activity/Criminal Trespass – Two people were observed loading items from the hospital’s dumpster into a home painted Honda Element. The subjects were advised to return the property and then not return to the property after their information was verified.
Night Shift November 4
23-013988 – Frawley Road/ Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Stolen Firearm Recovery – Police attempted a traffic stop with a silver Ford Fusion. The vehicle fled police towards I-24 Westbound and the driver tossed a black object out of the window. Police recovered the object and found it was a stolen Springfield XD 40 Caliber handgun. The firearm was removed from NCIC, and charges are pending until the driver is identified.
23-013990 – 4100 BLK Greenbriar Rd – Suspicious Activity – Police responded with ERFD to the report of a fire outside of an abandoned residence. On scene, police located two individuals who stated the house was family property and they were in the process of moving in. The two individuals had also set up a burn pit to get rid of brush and fallen branches on the property. ERFD personnel informed the individuals of a statewide burn ban and extinguished the blaze. Police checked the individuals and found no active warrants.
23-013991 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Following a traffic stop at this location, a man was taken into custody for Driving on a Revoked License and other traffic offenses. The individual was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
23-013997 – 3800 BLK Kingwood Circle — Found Property – The reporting party stated her stolen vehicle had recently been recovered and returned to her. In the recovered vehicle, the reporting party found an ID belonging to a man and a pair of pants. Further investigation will be required to determine how his ID ended up in the car.
23-014010 – 1000 BLK Spring Creek Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a male was taken into custody by police for multiple traffic offenses. The male was unable to provide police with satisfactory evidence of identification and was booked under the name John Doe. The individual was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
23-014011 – 900 BLK E Martin Luther King Blvd – Warrant Service – A party was arrested on an active warrant through the City of East Ridge. ERPD responded to the Chattanooga location and transported the individual to the Hamilton County Jail without incident. The original charge for the warrant was Driving on a Suspended License.
23-014020 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Rd – Public Intoxication / Arrest – Police responded to this address for an intoxicated person complaint. Police located a man on the premise and found that he was highly intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
No Case Number Assigned – 5300 BLK Weaver St – Assist Other Agency – Police responded with ERFD to a person burning leaves in the backyard of their residence. Officers stood by while ERFD spoke with the residents and extinguished the fire.
Day Shift November 5
23-014025- 800 BLK South Germantown Road- Felony Evading – ERPD observed a purple “sports bike” motorcycle travelling at an extreme high rate of speed ridden by a sole individual wearing all black on South Germantown Road, north bound. ERPD attempted a traffic stop on South Terrace. The motorcyclist fled at a high rate of speed and was last observed entering the on-ramp to I-24 East at Moore Road. BOLO’d to surrounding jurisdictions.
23-014038- 3400 BLK Missionaire Ave- Assist CPD – ERPD assisted CPD in the apprehension of 2 shoplifters.
Night Shift November 5
23-014050 –183 I-24 EB – Assist Other Agency – East Ridge Police units responded to a crash on the interstate involving a US Government contracted transport and a civilian pick-up. Police found there were no injuries and the crash occurred in Chattanooga. The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the scene and conducted the crash investigation.
Day Shift November 6
23-014053- 5414 Marion Avenue- Property Damage/Shots Heard Delayed- The caller reported that her truck was struck by a bullet fired from an unknown direction around 0420 hours this date. The stray round skimmed off the right-side hood then penetrated the right side-view mirror. No suspect information was provided. This incident coincides with the shots fired call on Connell Street (OCN: 23-014065) that occurred one block over at the same time.
23-014055- 1100 BLK Altamaha Street- Suspicious Vehicle/Stolen Vehicle Recovery- The caller advised of an abandoned auto at the intersection with Leslie Avenue. On scene the vehicle tag was checked and was found to be stolen out of Chattanooga. The vehicle was removed from NCIC and towed. The owner was also notified.
23-014057- 1300 BLK West End Avenue- Delayed Shots Fired- The caller and her neighbor heard what sounded to be a gunshot occur around 0420 this morning. This is the third report, but no suspect info is available.
23-014062- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Auto Theft- The caller advised an unknown suspect stole his car from the parking lot. While officers were responding, the caller advised he had located his vehicle.
23-014065- 5400 BLK Connell Street- Shots Fired- The caller advised of hearing a gunshot early this morning. On scene officers located several shell casings in the street. There are currently no suspects.
23-014068- 1300 BLK Adonna Lane- Auto Burglary- The reporting party advised her vehicle was entered sometime on 11-4-23 and items stolen. She advised that she had locked her vehicle prior to entering her home and verified the doors were closed due to her glove compartment not having a lock. She claimed she had placed her black Glock 19 Gen 5 and $100 bill in the glove compartment. The firearm was entered into NCIC as stolen. There are no suspects.
23-014076- 5700 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder with a Weapon- A man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault following a disorder where he pulled a knife on the victim. He was transported to jail without incident.
Night Shift November 6
23-014085 – 5300 BLK Dupont Street – Back-up Fire – Police responded to heavy smoke at a residence on Dupont Street. Upon arrival the fire source was identified as contained in the backyard. Residents were advised by Fire & Police not to burn this material in their back yard in the future.
23-014088 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Fraud-Credit Card – Police responded to a credit card fraud that occurred three days ago, to include many other locations in Chattanooga. After questioning the RP, it was determined her card, issued by a temporary employment company, is likely linked to a cybercrime due to the fact her card was not physically stolen. Since the RP resides and works in Chattanooga, the case was referred to Chattanooga Police Department.
23-014094—1300 BLK West End Ave—Shots Fired – Police responded to this location for a shots fired call. Upon arrival police scanned the area to find evidence of shots having been fired. Police spoke with the RP after finding the remains of firecrackers in the road, and the RP stated she looked back on her video footage. She confirmed it was the firecrackers being set off instead of actual gunshots.
