Day Shift October 26
23-013563 – 300 BLK CAMP JORDAN RD – HARRASSMENT- Police responded to this address to take a harassment complaint where a violation of order of protection was believed to occur.
23-013555 – 1500 BLK MCDONALD RD – NARCOTICS VIOLATION – Police responded to this address regarding staff finding a bowl with white powder residue, straw, and a lipstick container with residue. Police are investigating.
22-017167 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – A woman was served with an East Ridge warrant while in custody.
23-013560 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Pedestrian Struck – An elderly male was reversed into by his friend’s vehicle as it was exiting from a parking stall. EMS transported the patient to an area hospital for treatment.
23-013562 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to this location after being advised a truck and trailer was removing the plug from a fire hydrant. The vehicle was gone on arrival.
23-013564 – 1517 Tombras Ave – Warrant Service – A party was taken into custody at East Ridge City Hall for Forfeiture Capias warrants. He was transported to jail without issue.
23-013573 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – A woman was served with an East Ridge warrant while in custody at the jail.
Night Shift October 26
23-013575 – Exit Ramp, I-24 Eastbound – Traffic Crash/DUI Arrest – Police responded to a single car crash which knocked down a light pole. The driver was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence and due care. EPB responded to the location and cut the power to the downed pole.
23-013576 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Road — Property Damage- The reporting party stated a white Ford utility vehicle hit the metal roof in a car wash stall at this location. The reporting party provided pictures that showed the name of the company and the company number on the vehicle. The estimated property damage was $4,000.
23-013579 – 4300 BLK Dupont St – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to a report of suspicious juveniles in the area. On the previous day, police responded to the same area when a citizen reported several juveniles dressed in black shooting air soft guns and chasing people. Nothing was found, but police continued to check the area throughout the evening.
23-013580 – 1 Stadium Way – Assault – Police responded in reference to an assault. A woman stated that several kids almost hit her granddaughter with a soccer ball. She then grabbed the soccer ball and would not return it. The owner of the ball stated that he attempted to retrieve the ball and a verbal argument ensued. The woman stated the man struck her during the conversation. An unbiased witness stated no assault occurred and the woman had been the aggressor. No charges were filed.
23-013584 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Check Wellbeing – Police observed a man outside a hotel after a caller requested a wellbeing for him. He stated that several gang members were following him, and he was trying to get help. Police observed no gang members in the area. He was transported at his request for evaluation.
23-013588 – 1600 BLK Prater Rd – VOP / Drug Arrest – Police observed a man and woman walking down the road together. Police were informed during a prior incident that one had a TPO against the other. Police approached the couple, and one subject was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. She was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail. The man was also arrested on warrants out of Hamilton County.
23-013594 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to a complaint of two individuals knocking on several hotel doors and bothering customers. Officers found a man and woman engaged in the suspicious activity. One was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and fentanyl. The individuals were instructed to leave the property. Warrants will be sought.
