Day Shift October 25
23-013511 – 5300 BLK SPRIGGS ST – BURGLARY IN PROGRESS – Police responded to this address referencing a burglary in progress and observed a man with a hammer fleeing from the scene on a bicycle. Police observed no damage to the property and transported him to the community kitchen.
23-013514 – 1300 BLK SPRING CREEK RD – PROPERTY – Police responded to this address referencing the report of a found suitcase. Upon arrival, Police searched the suitcase and determined that the contents/bag may have been stolen. The items were placed in property for safekeeping.
23-013516 – 1300 BLK Laredo Ave – Suspicious Activity/Burglary – Police were originally dispatched to a broken down auto with a truck missing a wheel. The call was changed to a motor vehicle crash with unknown injuries and the occupant walking away from the vehicle into a vacant home. Officers later located the subject in a basement cabinet where she was detained. Police contacted the owner of the property who denied prosecution of the party due to the subject’s peculiar behavior and actions. She was transported for a medical evaluation.
23-013519 – 3600 BLK Gleason Dr – Found Property – Police were dispatched to this location after the resident reported finding a black puffy-styled jacket containing a debit card by the alley in the rear of the caller’s property. The items were collected and placed into property for safekeeping. Dispatch contacted the party named on the debit card who advised he would come to ERPD to collect his belongings.
Night Shift October 25
23-013529 – 1500 BLK Cora Drive – Delayed Vandalism – The caller stated that on October 22, she heard a loud noise outside of her residence. She went outside to investigate but found nothing wrong. The next morning, she found the back window of her Nissan Versa completely shattered. Victim stated nothing was stolen.
23-013538 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Narcotics – Police Responded to the restaurant after a male suspect attempted to give the bartender suspected cocaine. The staff stated the suspect was a regular at the restaurant. Police reviewed the security camera footage and obtained picture evidence of the offender. Charges are pending upon identification of the individual.
23-013539 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Disorder/Arrest – Police responded to the gas station after a passerby stated a man was throwing objects at the business. On scene, officers observed a male and attempted to make contact. The male took off on foot and police pursued him. After a brief foot chase, officers apprehended the suspect and identified him. He was found to be in possession of a 40-ounce beer and appeared to be under the influence. He was arrested for Public Intoxication and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-013547 – 6600 BLK Hilton Drive – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to the report of a male in a hood walking in the road. Police located the subject and identified him. It was further found that the man lived on Hilton Drive and was simply walking for coffee prior to work.
