Day Shift October 24
23-013453- 1400 BLK Boyd Street- Found Property- The caller advised a bicycle was located at the business. Officers also located a small black bag and a green bag with miscellaneous items inside. All was placed into the property and evidence room. The owner is unknown.
23-013462- 3600 BLK Phelps Street- Attempted Burglary- The caller advised between 0900 hours and 1100 hours today an unknown suspect vandalized the door to her residence in an attempt to gain entry. The caller advised nothing was missing from the residence.
23-013466- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person/AOA Warrant Service- The caller advised a male was at the rear of the business refusing to leave the property. Officers located the man who was found to have several Hamilton County warrants. He was detained and transported to jail.
Night Shift October 24
23-013468 – 1100 BLK Spring Creek Road – Suspicious Person – Police responded to reports of two suspicious male parties on foot checking car door handles around Spring Creek Elementary. While patrolling, police observed a male in the area on foot and conducted a consensual encounter. He was identified and found to have an active warrant out of Hamilton County. He was transported to the jail.
23-013470 – 700 BLK Frawley Road – Burglary of Motor Vehicle – Police responded to a delayed theft that occurred on October 17th, 2023, around 2200 hours at Park Ridge Apartments. The victim provided video surveillance of an unidentified person stealing from his vehicle. The suspect was seen driving an unidentified Ford Mustang. It was estimated that $1,070 of personal belongings were stolen from the car. The case has been submitted for further investigation by CID.
23-013476 – 3900 BLK Bennett Road– Harassment – Police responded to a harassment complaint at this location. The caller stated her daughter’s boyfriend was being loud and making statements leading them to believe he might be up to something before he left their residence. She stated he drives a Harley motorcycle with an expired TN tag.
23-013477 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with switched tags. Following a probable cause search of the vehicle, a man was taken into custody for possession of schedule II and possession of drug paraphernalia.
23-013482 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police served a warrant on a woman for Theft of property- shoplifting.
23-013485 – 1200 BLK S Seminole Drive – Assault – Police responded to reports of an assault at the residence. The caller told police the suspect was bullying her and hitting her on her head. Police observed no signs a physical assault had occurred. Additionally, police spoke with three witnesses at the residence told police they had not observed a physical assault between the two females.
23-013488 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-DUI – Police conducted a traffic stop on a GMC SUV and observed an intoxicated driver. He was arrested for DUI after showing multiple clues of intoxication above the legal limit and then refused to perform roadside field sobriety testing. He was taken to jail without incident.
23-013489 – 5300 BLK Oakdale Ave – Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with switched tags. Upon contacting the driver, she was found to have a revoked license for DUI. She was issued a misdemeanor citation in lieu of arrest for driving on revoked for DUI. Officers then conducted a vehicle search with consent. Officers located mushrooms, marijuana, and cocaine in small separate bags. Officers are taking out warrants for the narcotics.
23-013495 – 6514 Ringgold Road-Arrest-DUI – A man was observed stumbling about as well as being reported by the clerk as being under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was arrested for DUI.
