Day Shift October 3
23-012543 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A subject was arrested after ERPD officers were advised she had active warrants.
23-012545 – 1600 BLK Springvale Avenue – Suspicious Activity – Officers were aware of an encampment located behind Springvale Park and had visited it several times, but no one was there. This morning police contacted a party and advised her charges of aggravated criminal littering could be forthcoming for her and others staying in the camp.
23-012546 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – Two parties were located camping under the bridge and the wood line along the creek. Officers advised them of laws regarding criminal littering and camping near highways and under bridges in TN. They were encouraged to find other accommodations or face possible criminal prosecution.
23-01549 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft- Police responded to a delayed theft. An unknown male wearing a blue polo style shirt and black pants left with a cart of cleaning products without paying. The unknown male left in a black Dodge Caliber.
23-01255- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive.- Theft – Police responded for a theft. A male with a blue shirt and blue jeans stole a pair of Costa sunglasses before leaving in a red Pontiac G6. Charges pending upon identification of suspect.
23-012554 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Theft – Police responded after the victim reported the theft of her red clutch wallet after it was left at the register. Review of the closed-circuit television surveillance showed an unknown male in his 50’s-60’s purposefully take the wallet as he was collecting his purchases. The subject left in a newer model black/dark-colored four door Ford F-150 with decals on the rear windows and tailgate.
Night Shift October 3
23-012576 – 4000 BLK Ringgold Road – Possession of Stolen Vehicle – The license plate reader (LPR) located on South Germantown Road detected a stolen tag on a black sedan. The information was sent to the Hamilton County Dispatch and the 2014 Buick Regal was confirmed as stolen. Police responded to the area and observed a black Buick Regal traveling eastbound in the 4000 block of Ringgold Road. In the presence of law enforcement, the stolen vehicle’s driver turned off his lights and made a series of evasive maneuvers traveling on Tombras Avenue, Dupont Street, and McBrien Road. Police attempted to stop the vehicle on McBrien Road, but it took off at a high rate of speed turning on South Terrace. East Ridge Police units did not attempt to pursue the vehicle. The vehicle was last seen traveling northbound on Spring Creek Road toward Chattanooga. The information for the stolen vehicle was sent to surrounding areas. The identity of the driver and possible occupants were unknown.
23-012563 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Crash/Arrest – A man was taken into custody at this location for multiple traffic offenses. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
