Day Shift October 2
23-012512 – Camp Jordan Park – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to reports of a female screaming in distress on city owned property on the other side of the creek near Camp Jordan. Officers encountered several homeless encampments and advised the parties the property was owned by the city of East Ridge, and they would need to vacate. One party was found to have active warrants through Hamilton County. He was transported to jail without incident.
23-012497 – 1200 BLK S Seminole Drive – Disorder/Arrest – Officers responded to the listed address in reference to a disorder involving parties in the residence. The main subject is well known to police and officers had knowledge of active warrants for his arrest. He was hiding under a bed when the police arrived. He was taken into custody on the active warrants and additionally charged with evading arrest.
23-012509 – 3400 BLK Gail Drive – Theft – The caller stated sometime in the past month someone stole the trailer hitch receiver from his vehicle. He stated the trailer hitch receiver is black and has “U-Haul” labelling.
23-011521 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant – A man was arrested on outstanding East Ridge warrants.
23-012501 – 3600 BLK Altamira Drive – Found Property – Police were flagged down by a pedestrian who advised there was driver’s license in the roadway at this location. An officer recovered the license and had dispatch contact the owner to pick it up from the police department.
23-012517 – 1600 BLK Prigmore Road – Warrant Service. – Following a traffic stop at this location, a woman was taken into custody for an Aggravated Assault warrant through Hamilton County.
Night Shift October 2
23-012525 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Field Interview – Police observed a driver asleep at the wheel while in a parking lot. Police observed the driver sweating profusely. He stated he was there watching a football game and fell asleep. Police observed nothing in plain view. He was released from the scene.
23-012533– 4300 BLK Spriggs Street – Assist EMS – Police were called to assist EMS in reference to someone having a panic attack after eating a THC brownie. Police observed the party to have eaten a 300mg Brownie and suffered a panic attack. She was later transported to the hospital for evaluation.
23-012524 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Found Property – A wallet was handed over to police as found property. Police were unable to contact the female and placed the wallet into the East Ridge Police property room for safe keeping.
23-009533 – 2500 Cummings Highway – Warrant Service – A woman was taken into custody for an arrest warrant through East Ridge. The original charge was Theft Under $1,000. At the Hamilton County Jail, an ERPD officer found suspected methamphetamine weighing approximately 0.2 grams concealed in a pocket of her purse. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office will further investigate the incident and may seek charges.
23-012542 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Found Property – Police officers located a black backpack laying in the middle of Ringgold Road. The bag contained clothing and other miscellaneous items, but nothing that identified the owner. The backpack was placed in the ERPD Property and Evidence Room for safe keeping.
23-012532 – 600 BLK State Line Road – Assist Other Agency – ERPD units responded to the intersection of Greenslake Road and State Line Road to assist the Walker County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies with Walker County had been in a pursuit with a white motorcycle but terminated their operations at the state line. Walker County reported that the man had several felony warrants. ERPD units checked the area and observed the suspect crash his motorcycle 50 yards across the state line on East Lakeview Drive. The suspect then attempted to flee the area on foot; however, with the collaboration of ERPD, Catoosa SO and Walker SO he was located in a wooded area nearby. Walker County SO transported the suspect to jail.
