Police were dispatched to Freedom Church on South Seminole Drive last week on a reported theft.
According to a police report, an employee of the church called officers when she noticed patio furniture _ four chairs and a table _ were missing from in front of the church. The employee told officers that the black table and chairs were made out of wrought iron. The employee told police that she last noticed seeing the furniture the previous day. The value of the furniture was placed at $250.

_ 5903 St. James Ave.: Police were dispatched to the address Tuesday on a reported burglary. According to a police report, the victim told officers that she had been out of town for the past three weeks and had just arrived back home on Feb. 23. The victim told police that she was in the process of moving and had many of her belongings packed away in boxes. The report states that the victim reported the house had been ransacked and her belongings were scattered about the entire house.
The report states that police observed a shattered double-paned glass door that separates the kitchen from the patio/garage area. A crow bar was found at the foot of the shattered glass door. The report states that interior doors to the house were also damaged. Each room in the house was in disarray, the report states.
Police searched the outside perimeter of the home and found an open window in the back of the house. Police saw scuff marks below the window on the vinyl siding.
The victim alerted police to the fact that a neighbor and a business directly behind her residence may have had video surveillance pointed at her home and the backyard. Investigators were called to the scene and collected evidence, the report states. The victim will be providing police with an inventory of missing items to assist in the investigation.
_ 3414 Ten Oaks Dr.: Police were dispatched to the address, Feb. 20, on a theft call. According to a police report, the victim told officers that someone had entered his vehicle and stolen multiple items. The victim said the theft may have occurred at about 6 a.m., as a surveillance camera on his property showed a Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck pulling up to the residence.
The report states that video shows a male suspect sliding a rear window to the victim’s truck open and making entry through the window. The suspect spent several minutes in the vehicle and then exited with a large bag full of the victim’s property. The report states that the thief made off with a reciprocating saw, a roto-zip, a .38-cal Smith & Wesson handgun and various medications belonging to the victim. No further information is available, the report states.
