Day Shift September 6
23-011343- 1200 BLK South Seminole Drive- Burglary- The caller advised the residence had been burglarized by three males and a female. Police determined a burglary had not occurred. The males and female used a key to enter the residence. The female resident was not on scene and the parties only entered her room. Upon looking through the room, a small amount of known drug paraphernalia was seen in the trash can and around the floor. It is unknown if she gave permission to any of the parties to enter the residence, but they used a key and were polite to the residents in the house. Officers will follow up with the resident, and owner of the key used, to determine a factual basis for a report. No crime appeared to have occurred.
23-011351- 1600 BLK Key West Avenue- Wellbeing Check- The caller requested police check on a party at this residence. She said she was fine and did not need assistance.
Night Shift September 6
23-011374—3700 BLK Ringgold Rd—Alarm Burglary – Police responded to an alarm complaint at this location and found a man behind the building looking for food inside the dumpster. Police checked all the doors of the building and confirmed it was secure. Nothing further.
23-011375—3300 BLK Ringgold Rd—Traffic Stop/Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop. The vehicle took off on S Seminole. Police located the vehicle in 100 BLK of S Crest Rd. The driver fled on foot. East Ridge Canine assisted in tracking and successfully locating the suspect. Officers located a firearm the man had discarded while fleeing from police. According to Hamilton County booking reports, Jerome Alexander Holiday, 39, of a West 40th Street address, was charged with felony evading, possession of firearm by convicted felon, driving on revoked, and resisting stop, halt, and frisk.
23-011376 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Property Damage – Police responded to a property damage call where the clerk confronted a customer attempting to conceal a can drink in his shorts causing him to become frightened. The customer removed the drink, placed it on the counter, and fled the scene. During his exit he broke the glass door when he rigorously tried opening a locked door several times. The suspect fled using the unlocked door. Police offered to provide additional patrols due to the broken glass door.
23-011381 – 700 BLK Pyron Lane – Animal Call – Police responded to a complaint about a dog barking in the backyard at 1:40 a.m. at the residence. The complainant explained that her neighbor’s brown and white dog had broken out of his fence from next door and barked continuously. Police observed the barking dog upon arrival and spoke to the neighbor who agreed to repair the fence and prevent the dog from escaping and disturbing the neighbor in the future.
23-011383 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Disorder – Police responded to a domestic disorder between complainant and suspect that ended when the suspect kicked a dent in the driver side passenger door. When the police arrived, the suspect was gone. Police took a statement from the victim regarding the property damage to her vehicle.
23-011377—600 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy— Domestic Assault – Police responded regarding an initial unknown trouble. Upon further investigation, a domestic assault was determined to have occurred however the suspect left the scene prior to police arrival. He was located a short time later and taken into custody without incident.
