Day Shift August 23
23-010749- 600 BLK Melville Avenue- Auto Theft- The caller advised his vehicle was stolen by an unknown suspect during the nighttime hours. The vehicle entered NCIC as stolen. Later in the shift the vehicle was recovered in the parking lot on South Seminole Drive. It was removed from NCIC.
23-010767- 1400 BLK Saint Thomas Street- AOA Warrant Service- A man was detained and transported to Silverdale on Hamilton County warrants.
Night Shift August 23
23-010779 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Road – Unconscious – Arrest – Police were dispatched to this location regarding a possible overdose. Police arrived and contacted a man who advised he was okay and did not overdose. Police attempted to conduct and pat down search which he refused. Police contacted his Georgia State Probation Officer who advised he had his 4th Amendment right waived, and that any officer could search at any time. Following a search police found .57 grams of purple substance the suspect advised was MDMA, along with a straw and foil. He was arrested and charged with Possession of SCH II and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
Day Shift August 24
23-010795- 4300 BLK Bennett Road- Unconscious Person- Police responded with EMS on an unconscious female. On scene officers assisted EMS. The patient was transported to the hospital.
Night Shift August 24
23-010820 – 1600 BLK Glowmont Drive – Assist Other Agency – Police responded to this location at the request of Georgia State Probation to locate a male subject who had fled from a vehicle following an attempted warrant service in Georgia. Officers were unable to locate him in the area however another subject, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
23-010822 – 5300 BLK Bennett Road – Suspicious Activity – Police spoke with the complainant about two individuals acting suspicious in her neighborhood. Police conducted additional patrol in the neighborhood throughout the shift.
23-010832 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder – Arrest – Police responded to this location regarding an intoxicated male who vandalized the reporting party’s vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody for Public Intoxication, Vandalism over $2500, and Disorderly Conduct. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
