Day Shift August 22
23-010709 – 1600 Springvale Avenue – Suspicious Activity/Vicious Dog – While an officer was checking a suspicious vehicle in Springvale Park a large white dog aggressively approached and attempted to bite him multiple times. The owner of the dog emerged from near the creek and took control of the animal. East Ridge Animal Services responded and issued multiple citations.
23-010728 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A party was arrested on an East Ridge warrant.
23-010726- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder- Following a disorder at the restaurant, a man was criminally trespassed from the property.
23-010713- 4300 BLK Bennett Road- Suspicious Person- A male juvenile was found hiding in the bathroom of the high school. The juvenile was previously expelled from East Ridge Middle School. As the administration was attempting to make contact with the juvenile he fled from the school.
23-010707 – S. Seminole Drive @ Wakulla Drive – Shots Fired – Police responded to the area after a resident on Bennett Road claimed he heard several shots fired. Units checked the area and did not locate anything. Police spoke with some parties at this location and were advised of the sound possibly emanated from a motorcycle that drove through the area.
Night Shift August 22
23-010721 – 1517 Tombras Avenue – Warrant Service – A Capias for Arrest of Probationer was served against a woman at the East Ridge City Court. She was then transported to the Hamilton County Jail with a bond set at $50,000. The original charge for the arrest warrant was Possession of a Controlled Substance.
23-010497 – 4200 BLK Bennet Road – Warrant Service – Two parties, a man and woman, were taken into custody on multiple East Ridge warrants.
23-010736 – 1608 Castleberry Avenue – Harassment – Police were dispatched to this residence regarding a harassment complaint and spoke to a man who stated his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend was sending him harassing text messages. Police took out a warrant for harassment.
23-010740 – Mcbrien Road @ Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police were dispatched for a hit and run crash at this location. Following a hit and run crash investigation, the remaining driver was taken into custody for active warrants out of Hamilton County.
23-010721 – 1500 BLK Tombras Avenue – Warrant Service – Police responded to the area and located a man outside his residence. It was confirmed he had a petition to Revoke for Driving Under the Influence warrant out of East Ridge. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-010745 – S. Germantown @ Anderson Avenue – Traffic Stop/ Arrest – Police stopped a black Chrysler Sebring for failure to maintain its lane and the tag came back stolen out of Marion County. The vehicle was operated by a man who had Felony warrants for Larceny out of Cherokee County, Ga. He was taken into custody and the tag placed into property.
