Day Shift August 2
23-009683- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A woman was served an East Ridge warrant for Petition to Revoke on possession of drug paraphrenia while in custody at Hamilton County Jail.
23-009685- 120 Interstate 75 SB- Check Well-Being- Officers were called to check on a party that had broken down on the interstate. Police spoke with the female driver who appeared to have clammy skin and altered mental status. Police requested EMS to check the female out. EMS transported the female.
23-009696- 200 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Disorder- Police responded to Camp Jordan for a disorder between park staff and a homeowner. Park staff advised they were checking on fallen trees when they were approached by the homeowner who was very aggressive. Officers spoke with all parties, and they were separated.
Night Shift August 2
23-009717 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with two Forfeiture Capias warrants out of East Ridge while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. ($100,000 Bond)
23-009721 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle- A man was found to be in possession of a Schedule V controlled substance during an encounter at the listed location. He was issued a misdemeanor citation in lieu of arrest.
23-009635- 800 BLK Belvoir Avenue- Supplement Report – A vehicle that was reported stolen out of East Ridge was located unoccupied at 490 Greenway View Drive by Chattanooga Police. The owner of the vehicle was notified and recovered the vehicle. The vehicle was removed as stolen from NCIC.
23-009710 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Suspicious Person – Police responded to the area to check on a female who was acting as if she was intoxicated. Police contacted the woman who stated she was having a rough time mentally and was coming down off Methamphetamine and wanted to be transported to Joe Johnson Behavioral Health. Police assisted her with transport.
23-009707 – 700 BLK S. Sweetbriar Avenue – Suspicious – Police were called to this residence by neighbors regarding two juveniles who appeared to be entering a trailer at the house. Police spoke with the owner of the home and trailer. She advised that her husband works on airplane equipment and that most people in the neighborhood are aware. The complainant checked the trailer and found nothing missing or broken.
23 – 009726 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Assist Fire – As police conducted a park and walk, a fire alarm went off at the hotel. The East Ridge Fire Department responded to the scene and investigated the incident. ERFD discovered that one of the guests had tampered with the fire alarm. Hotel employees told the guest they would have to leave at 1100 hours on 8/3/2023. Police presence may be needed due to an anticipated verbal disorder.
