Day Shift July 28
23-009480 – 4100 BLK Eastway Terr – Domestic Assault – A woman was arrested for Domestic Assault after a verbal disorder escalated into her using pepper spray on her boyfriend.
23-009459 – 400 BLK McBrien Rd – Suspicious Peron – A man was criminally trespassed after employees observed him naked in the restroom bathing himself.
23-009477 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd -Disorder – The same man bathing in the restroom from another business after witnesses said he was being aggressive and bothering customers. He requested transport to a medical facility.
23-009467 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – CPD contacted a man at 2900 Rossville Blvd and after verifying his information it was found he had a valid East Ridge Forfeiture Capias for Aggravated Assault on Police. CPD ultimately transported the party to the jail.
23-009466 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Shoplifting – A man was observed shoplifting by loss prevention staff. He was located by police and was arrested for theft, resisting arrest and tampering with evidence.
23-009469- 1100 BLK Chippewah- Aggravated Burglary- A resident reported that his home had been broken into, ransacked, $400 cash stolen, a stuffed animal taken, and bleach poured over his bed and clothes. He stated his ex-girlfriend was responsible. He stated he received a phone call from her on a blocked number this morning thanking him for the $400 and a stuffed animal that was missing as well. He said there was history of her vandalizing his property. Warrants being sought.
Night Shift July 28
23-009490 –3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police responded to this location regarding two adult females who were opening their vehicle doors on each other’s vehicles to provoke a response from one another. Police identified both females and they agreed to go their separate ways without further incident.
23-009504 – 700 BLK S Germantown Road – Domestic Disorder / Arrest – A woman was arrested at this location for domestic assault and disorderly conduct. She was transported to Silverdale where she was booked according to charges.
23-009510 – I24 East-Bound / Germantown Road – Felony Evading – During a traffic stop at this location for an improperly displayed registration plate, a woman fled in her vehicle after being told to step out. Warrants are being sought by police.
23-009493 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Found Property – Police responded in refence to found narcotics (20 Fentanyl Tablets) inside the restroom. Police seized the narcotic and suspects and vehicles are included in the report.
23-009509 – I-24 @ Germantown Road – Arrest- A man was arrested for reckless driving, resisting, and marijuana for resale following a traffic stop.
Day Shift July 29
23-009512 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Shooting Victim – A man was dropped off with a gunshot wound to his left upper side. It was determined the subject had been shot in Chattanooga.
23-009514 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Special Assignment – Police provided extra patrols at the hospital while a subject who had been shot in Chattanooga was being treated.
23-009531 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Rd – Disorder with a Weapon – A customer became irate over the placement of his fries on a tray. He became so enraged he threatened an employee at the counter screaming “I got you!! I know where you work and what you drive”. He exited the store, pointed a handgun at a second employee and made the exclamation. The subject left in a black SUV with temporary tags. Warrants are pending identification of the suspect.
23-009533- 3900 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Theft- An unknown female entered this location and walked out with two bottles of Tide Pods valued at $43.59. She left in a white four door Nissan Versa TN tag missing all four hubcaps. At the time of report the manager on duty was unable to access the CCTV footage of the female inside the store, she did provide a picture of the vehicle she left in.
Night Shift July 29
23-09550 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Suspicious Vehicle – Police observed a suspicious vehicle in the park. Two juveniles were identified in the back seat. Both juveniles were taken home.
Day Shift July 30
23-009557 – 5000 BLK S Terrace – Suspicious Person – While patrolling, police encountered two homeless parties behind the business. Officers identified the female party who had an active warrant for failure to appear for drug possession charges out of Walker County, GA. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail. The other party was asked to move on.
Night Shift July 30
23-009600 – 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road – Arrest – Police responded regarding suspicious activity. While speaking with the security officer it was determined he was possibly under the influence of a narcotic. Police observed the security officer driving a golf cart backwards on Mack Smith Road. After agreeing to perform SFST’s, he was placed in custody for DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia. While at the jail, he freely admitted to smoking methamphetamine earlier in the day.
23-009581 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Agg. Burglary – A report was taken at this location regarding a possible aggravated burglary. Reporting parties told police multiple items had been taken from their room while they were gone. No suspect information is known currently. CID was notified.
23-009324 -200 BLK Eads Street- Arrest / AOA – A runaway juvenile at this location was located and taken into custody on outstanding attachments.
23-009587 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police executed active warrants on a woman. She was served on three forfeiture capiases for public intoxication, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
23-009596 – I-75 SB On Ramp – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police observed a Red Ford F150 with a light law violation upon that stop the driver was found in possession of Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, Marijuana, and paraphernalia while driving on a suspended DL.
20-011860 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – A woman was served with an Evading Arrest warrant out while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
Day Shift July 31
23-009615- 700 BLK South Germantown Road- Suspicious Vehicle/Foot Pursuit- The caller advised of a suspicious white truck in the parking lot and the driver appeared to be asleep. Police spoke with the driver and identified him. Several East Ridge warrants were located but as officers were attempting to take him into custody he fled on foot. CPD K9 officers responded and attempted a track but lost the trail. CPD also assisted with two drones but were unable to locate the man. Several charges are pending.
Night Shift July 31
22-000261 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Arrest-Warrant – A man was arrested on warrants for Theft, Conspiracy to Commit, and Criminal Simulation for an incident that occurred on December 30, 2021.
23-009635 – 800 BLK Belvoir Avenue – Theft-Auto – Person(s) unknown stole a 2022 Honda CR-V from the lot between 1830 and 2030.
23-009638 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Arrest-Warrant – A man was arrested on a Probationary Capias warrant for Possession of Heroin.
Night Shift August 1
23-009649 – 1517 Tombras Avenue – Threat Complaint – Police responded to 1517 Tombras Ave regarding a threat complaint. The caller was at court for a separate incident when the defendant attempted to coerce her into leaving to have the case dismissed. Police took him into custody, had his bond set by the judge, and transported him to Silverdale Detention Center. Police also provided conditions of release.
23-009671-900 BLK Donaldson Road- DUI Arrest- Police arrested a man for DUI after he was doing dounuts/burnouts and driving recklessly.
23-009677 – 4000 BLK Ealy Road – Theft-Auto – The resident report his burgundy 2017 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible stolen from the driveway of the address by unknown subjects. The theft was caught on video. Vehicle was entered into NCIC.
23-009680 – Camp Jordan Parkway – Field Interview – Police got out with and spoke to a man who was on his way to go fishing while waiting for his girlfriend to come back to him. He stated his girlfriend took off in their dark colored Nissan Sentra with a Disabled Veteran license plate. The subject had non-extraditable warrants through Georgia, and police provided recommendation on him to get the warrants taken care of. Nothing further.
