Day Shift July 11
23-008656- 100 S. Seminole- Assist CPD – After a BOLO for two males who fled a significant traffic crash and was possibly carrying firearms and/or narcotics, ERPD located an injured juvenile who stated he had been in the vehicle. The juvenile was turned over to CPD.
23-008665- 5700 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft from a vehicle- Reporting party called to report his Glock 23 .40 Caliber handgun was taken from his vehicle while it was parked between June 20 and July 10, 2023. The firearm was entered into NCIC as stolen.
23-008669- 4200 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest- A man was taken into custody after attempting to cash a fraudulent check. He was charged with forgery and criminal impersonation.
23-008661 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Rd– Public Intoxication/Arrest – Police responded for an unconscious female. Police located the subject semi-conscious on the Old Ringgold Rd side of the property. After rousing the subject, she was evaluated by EMS and ERFD and refused transport to the hospital. She was then taken into custody for public intoxication due to being unable to care for herself in her current state.
Night Shift July 11
23-008690 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Field Interview – Police observed a sedan parked in the parking lot of the arena at Camp Jordan. Inside the vehicle, police located a female in the driver’s seat asleep. She was informed she could not sleep in the park. Field interview on file.
23-008691 – 6800 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI 2nd – Following a traffic stop at this location, a woman was taken into custody for DUI 2nd and Simple Possession. She was also cited for no insurance and driving an unregistered vehicle.
23-008693 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – A woman was served with four Forfeiture Capias at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charges were Public Intoxication, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Evading Arrest.
23-008676 – 1500 BLK Tombras Ave – Warrant Service – Police verified a warrant on female for a probation violation out of Walker County. She was transported to Silverdale. While at Silverdale the paperwork was never faxed, and police attempted to contact Walker County staff multiple times unsuccessfully. She was released from custody and transported back to East Ridge.
23-008680 – 1300 BLK Pleasant Street – Fight – Police responded for a report of Juveniles fighting in the street. Upon arrival multiple juveniles fled the scene and most could not be located. The juveniles who were on scene were released to the custody of their parents.
23-008694 – 5400 BLK Oakdale Ave – Traffic Stop / Drug Arrest – Police observed a vehicle with an inoperable tag light. Upon the stop the driver appeared extremely nervous. A K9 sniff alerted to the vehicle. The search produced 6.4 grams of meth, 1 oxycodone tablet, .2 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Located on the exterior of the vehicle’s frame was a plastic magnetic container containing a digital scale. The driver and passenger were taken into custody.
