June 14, 2023 Day Shift
23-007305- 5700 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft- The victim reported that her Reveal hunting camera used to observe the gates to her business’ storage lot was taken early this date around 0033 hours. The photos, recorded at that time, transfer to her cell phone. The photos show two unknown males backing a Ford F150 truck to the loading door of East Ridge Hardware. The camera was then cut from the fence post it was mounted to and taken without permission.
23-007311- 1100 BLK South Seminole Drive- Suspicious Person/Possible Theft- The victim reported an unknown party in a maroon SUV retrieved a package from her front porch around 1030 hours. She advised she was at work when her front door Ring camera alerted her. She observed via her phone an unknown male retrieving a package from her front porch. The victim was expecting a package; however, this was not the same package. Police were advised a maroon SUV with out of state tag, possibly Illinois, was parked in the driveway, and soon after, the package was delivered via UPS truck. The unknown party obtained the package then drove north on South Seminole Drive. Police also spoke with the neighbor across the street. He could not advise the make or model of the vehicle, only that it was newer model.
23-007312- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A man was served an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.
23-007321- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft- The caller advised two suspects took a Rigid 300 pipe threader. The caller had suspect information. Report on file.
Night Shift
23-007324 – 400 BLK Donaldson Road – Theft & Recovery – Police responded to this residence after a woman reported her license plate had been stolen from her vehicle. The Chattanooga Police Department later recovered the license plate following a traffic stop at E 23rd and Calhoun Ave. A supplement was completed.
23-007335 – 7600 BLK Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – Police served a warrant on a party while she was already incarcerated in Hamilton County Jail.
23-007336 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – Police served a warrant on a man after he encountered Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies.
23-007341 – Lee Highway & Standifer Gap Road – Assist Other Agency – East Ridge Officers assisted the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in a vehicle pursuit. A Deputy was otherwise alone in the pursuit. ERPD officers terminated when police lost sight of the suspect. The suspect was relocated by HSCO and ultimately captured.
No Number Assigned – I-24EB & I-75NB – Assist Other Agency – ERPD assisted the Chattanooga Police Department at their request with attempting to locate a firearm that had been thrown from a vehicle following a person shot call in Chattanooga.
23-007347 – 400 BLK Frawley Road – Crash-Hit and Run – While performing routine patrols, police discovered a vehicle crashed into a light pole. The Volkswagen Jetta was found unoccupied. EPB responded to repair the damaged pole. This crash is under investigation.
