June 7 Day Shift
23-006978 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Indecent Exposure – Police responded after the staff requested assistance with removing a discharged patient. After evaluating the patient, the staff advised the party was observed deliberately exposing himself in his ER room and refused to leave after being discharged. As police arrived on scene, they were informed the party had already left.
23-006984 – 3200 BLK Westonia Dr – Unknown 9-1-1 – Police responded to this location for an unknown 9-1-1. On arrival, police spoke to a female associated with the residence, who advised it may have been accidental and no emergency services were needed.
23-007002 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Rd – Shoplifting – Employees advised a male processed several items on the self-checkout, but failed to pay for the bagged items before leaving the store with them. A warrant will be sought upon confirmation of the subject’s identification.
Night Shift
23-007013 – 3600 BLK Old Ringgold Road – Misuse of 911 – The Hamilton County 911 Dispatch received a call stating a business on Ringgold Road was being robbed. Five police officers responded to the location and found the information to be untrue. The call center tracked the call back to a cell phone near the back of a nearby hotel. During an unrelated call, police found a suspicious person outside of one of the motel’s rooms. During a field interview, an officer called the number associated with the false robbery complaint. The suspicious person’s phone rang, and it was found to be the source of the call. He claimed that he left his phone charging in the room while he was cleaning another room. Police found it was occupied by two parties. Police later reviewed the original 911 call for the false report and found the voice matched that of the man. A warrant is pending.
23-007017 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder with a Weapon – Upon arriving, police spoke to the reporting party. He stated that an unknown male driving an older model green Turismo came up to him and his two younger siblings. He stated that the suspect started to yell and point a handgun at them. The suspect drove off and circled the property a couple of times before going into the Food City parking lot. Police checked the area for the suspect, but nothing was found.
23-007010 – 2000 BLK Prigmore Road – Back Other Agency – The East Ridge Police Department supported the Catoosa County Public Works and Hamilton County Waste Water Treatment Authority with traffic control after a manhole cover became dislodged near the intersection of Prigmore Road and State Line Road. Sewage backed up in the system which caused the manhole to dislodge and raw, untreated matter escaped into the roadway. The issue was resolved but will require monitoring for the next 72 hours.
23-007015 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Found Property – An anonymous passerby reported seeing the contents of a woman’s purse dumped next to a parking lot. Police located a KIA key fob in the area surrounded by several miscellaneous items. The key fob was turned into the ERPD Property and Evidence.
23-007021 – 3600 BLK Old Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity / Support Other Agency – Police observed a male looking in and around a white Volkswagen Passat. Police conducted a field interview with the individual. He was found to have two extraditable warrants through Walker County Georgia. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
23-007006 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – Police responded to a warrant service call for CPD who was out with a wanted person who had an East Ridge forfeiture capias for public intoxication. She was served wile at Silverdale.
23-007012 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – Police responded to verify a warrant on a man while he was out with Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. It was confirmed that he had an outstanding East Ridge alias capias warrant for driving on revoked, suspended, cancelled license. He was served wile at Silverdale.
23-007020 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Recovered Stolen Vehicle – Police were alerted by our LPR system of a possible stolen vehicle. Upon verifying the tag on the vehicle to the hit notification and to the NCIC Hit it was confirmed stolen out of East Ridge (23-006743). A supplemental report was added, and it was towed after no contact could be made with the victim.
23-007024 – 6500 bLK Ringgold Rd – Public Intoxication – Police were conducting park and walk when they noticed a male passed out on the sidewalk. After startling awake he admitted to doing meth. He was observed to have meth residue still in his nostrils. EMS arrived on scene and transported him to the hospital because his blood sugar being high. Petitions for Public Intoxication are pending.
23-007027 – Ringgold Rd and Prater St – Drug & Paraphernalia/ Driving on Suspended – Police stopped a Red Trailblazer for a light law violation. A man was confirmed to have a suspended DL as a habitual offender. The female passenger was in possession of five grams of Marijuana and meth paraphernalia. She was issued a citation and the evidence was seized and placed in property.
