May 17 Day Shift
23-005991- 4200 BLK Ringgold Road- Evading- Police attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a dark green Ford Explorer at this location. The driver refused to stop and sped off at a high rate of speed. As the vehicle attempted to make a left turn on McBrien Road it struck another vehicle. The driver still refused to stop. The vehicle was last seen being driven north on McBrien Road. Report on file.
No number assigned- 5700 BLK Ringgold Road- Wellbeing Check- The caller advised his mother was at this location to meet a male and receive $25 million. On scene police spoke with his mother. She advised she did not need police assistance.
23-006007- 950 Spring Creek Road- Suspicious Person/Warrant Arrest- A man was detained and transported to Silverdale on extraditable Catoosa County warrants.
23-006009- 3400 BLK Lisa Drive- Domestic Assault- The caller advised a male subject assaulted her sister. On scene police spoke with the couple. The suspect was arrested and charged with assault. He was transported to Silverdale.
Night Shift
(No Number Assigned) – Wiley & Belvoir Ave – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop at this location a man was taken into custody on multiple outstanding warrants out of General Sessions.
23-006013 – 100 Bass Pro Dr – Shoplifting – Police cited and released a man after he was caught shoplifting. He was also criminally trespassed from returning.
23-006015 – 1500 BLK Tombras Ave – Narcotics Violation – Police responded to Pioneer Park regarding a report of juveniles smoking marijuana. Upon arrival officers spoke with a group of juveniles and did not smell the odor of narcotics. A vape was seized from one of the juveniles on scene.
23-006027 – 5000 BLK S Terrace – Suspicious Activity – Police observed a male walking in the woods behind the movie theater, which is a known homeless encampment. When asked what he was doing, he advised that he did not know it was a homeless encampment, and that he was merely going for a walk. He was checked for warrants. A field interview was completed.
23-006029 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Arrest-Warrant – A party was arrested on East Ridge Forfeiture Capias warrant for Possession of Meth.
23-006030 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Arrest-Warrant – A party was arrested on East Ridge Forfeiture Capias warrant for Driving While License Revoked, Suspended and an Alias Capias warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
23-006036 – 120 Interstate 75 SB – Arrest-DUI – Police checked on a wrecked vehicle on the shoulder at said location. He was arrested for DUI and Possession of a Handgun While Under the Influence.
