April 27- Day Shift
23-005300 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd – Arrest – A man was taken into custody for public intoxication after being observed screaming and running across the highway.
23-005076-6800 BLK Martha Avenue- Drug Overdose- Officers were dispatched to a drug overdose with the reporting party stating they had used Narcan on their friend in a garage but could not tell the exact location. Officers were able to locate the residence and found one party in a confused state. Evidence at the residence confirmed an overdose did occur and he was transported via EMS.
23-005089-6400 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft- Police were dispatched regarding a party who left without paying. Employees were able to get a license plate number from the vehicle. Police used the license plate and were able to locate a phone number for the individual. The party was called and he advised that he would come back and pay for the meal. Employees did not want to make a report or press charges.
23-005095 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest – A man was arrested for attempting to pass a Counterfeit Check. He stated an unknown party had picked him up, driven him to the bank and requested he go inside and cash the check.
23-005077 – 4400 BLK Bennett Rd – Property/Possible Narcotics – SSO’s at East Ridge Middle School turned over a pouch containing an unknown substance to police. It was seized from a student who called it an “edible.” The substance was brown with a powdery and moist consistency. It was placed into Property & Evidence for destruction.
23-005096 – 4400 BLK Ringgold RD – Fraud – It was reported that an unknown suspect cashed a stolen check for $2524.00 using a previous customers stolen ID.
April 27- Night Shift
23-005118 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest/DUI – Following a traffic stop at this location the driver was arrested for driving under the influence and simple possession of marijuana.
23-005124- 500 BLK Sharondale Rd- Civil matter- A party called to report her vehicle stolen but declined to press charges against the person who stole the vehicle. Her vehicle was located crashed in Chattanooga just passed the tunnels.
23-005113-4300 BLK Bennett Road-Disorder- Police responded to this location for a disorder. Upon arrival, police spoke to both parties and determined it was verbal only. Both parties agreed to separate for the night.
