April 25- Day Shift
No Number- 5000 BLK S Terrace- Suspicious vehicle- Officers observed a small SUV parked next to the area of a homeless encampment. Police spoke with three parties. Officers got consent to search the vehicle and did not locate any contraband. Two of the three showed warrants, but they either did not confirm or were non-extraditable.
23-004985- 5300 BLK Clemons- Found Property- The resident at this address awoke to police officers in her backyard around 1:30 a.m. looking for a burglary suspect from Karwill Lane. When she went out this morning, she discovered a grey coat and hat in her backyard, presumably belonging to the fleeing suspect. Clothing was collected and placed into P&E.
No Number -6500 BLK Ringgold Rd- Suspicious person- Police observed a man sleeping on the outside of the building. He was advised he was not permitted to sleep on the sidewalk of that property.
23-005005- 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Theft from Motor Vehicle- The resident reported that while he worked on Sunday, between the hours of 1400 and 2300 an unknown suspect entered his 2003 Honda Civic and removed his school back pack containing a Samsung Chromebook and a JBL Blue Tooth Speaker.
April 25- Night Shift
23-005012- 4214 Ringgold Road – Recovered Stole Vehicle – Chattanooga Police located a red Hyunda Elantra stolen from East Ridge. The vehicle was unoccupied. The vehicle was removed from NCIC. Owner was contacted.
23-005015 – 3200 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-Warrant – A man was arrested on an East Ridge Alias Capias warrant for Driving on Suspended after being stopped for Failing to Maintain Lane and Tint Law Violation.
23-005019 – 6200 BLK Ringgold Road – Unconscious Person/ Field Interview – Police assisted EMS with an unconscious person in a vehicle. The woman refused EMS and stated she was asleep. She received a ride home by her husband.
23-005026 – 1400 BLK San Hsi Drive – Arrests – Police attempted a traffic stop on a speeding Dodge Charger. The vehicle fled and officers did not pursue. Less then an hour later police observed the vehicle at this address. The driver admitted to fleeing and was arrested. The passenger threatened officers and ran into the home. Officers entered the home and arrested him.
