April 21 – Day Shift
23-004819 – 1600 BLK Heather St – Backup Police – The SRO at Central High School requested ERPD check a residence for two runaway juveniles thought to be staying at this location. The juveniles were not located after speaking with residents on both sides of the duplex.
April 21 – Night Shift
23-004857- 941 Spring Creek Road- Disorder- Police were dispatched to Parkridge East for a patient who had become violent with hospital staff. Upon arrival police arrested the subject for simple assault and vandalism.
23-004863- Greens Lake at John Ross- Traffic stop/ arrest- During a traffic stop at this location it was discovered the driver, had an active East Ridge warrant. He was placed under arrest without incident.
No Number Assigned – 5300 BLK Connell Street – Shots Fired – Police were dispatched to this area regarding a reporting party stating they heard shots fired in the area. During this time, Police were also dispatched to Waterhouse and Stateline Road with another report of shots fired. Police searched the areas with nothing being located.
April 22 – Day Shift
23-004881- 1400 BLK Tombras Avenue- Arrest- Officers were called to the playground to check on a suspicious party. A man was found to be intoxicated and in possession of fentanyl pills. He was taken into custody for public intoxication, possession of Schedule II, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
23-004888- 4214 Ringgold Road- Warrant Arrest- A man was arrested on outstanding East Ridge Warrants.
23-004886- 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway Theft from Vehicle- The victim stated she was at the ball fields from 1200-1500 hours, returning to her vehicle to find force had been used to enter her vehicle and a .357 handgun stolen as well as the door hinge damaged.
23-004871 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Shoplifting – Police were dispatched regarding a theft in progress. An employee reported a male party took a $100 bottle of whiskey from the store. Employees recovered the bottle after the male was confronted. He was seen fleeing the scene southbound on John Ross Road in a white Nissan sedan. Police located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver did meet the description of the suspect. An investigation was conducted and he was subsequently arrested for Shoplifting, Possession of Prohibited Weapon, and Simple Possession.
23-004872 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd – Theft – A guest was seen on camera going behind the front desk. She opened the cash drawer and absconded with approximately $1,200. She was seen driving away, on a revoked license, in a gray Optima.
April 22 – Night Shift
23-004900 – 900 BLK South Seminole Drive – Traffic stop / Narcotics- A man was found to be in possession of cocaine during a traffic stop. He was issued a misdemeanor citation and released.
23-004908 – 6100 BLK Ringgold Rd – Possession of Stolen Firearm / Intoxicated Person – Police responded to reports of a fight with someone stating they had a firearm. Parties had rented a private business for a private party. Upon police arrival multiple parties fled the area on foot and vehicles in all directions. Police contacted one man in the parking lot and he was found in possession of a stolen Glock 43 and an AR pistol was found in the vehicle. He was charged for the possession. Another subject involved in the incident was transported to the hospital due to his intoxicated condition.
April 23 – Day Shift
23-004915-4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest- Officers responded to Sonic for an unconscious female in the driver seat of a vehicle. The woman was found to be under the influence of narcotics and her license was revoked for a prior DUI offense. She was taken into custody for DUI and driving on revoked for DUI.
April 23 – Night Shift
23-004943 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/ Assist Other Agency – During a traffic stop at this location a man was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. During the interaction he consented to a search of his phone. While searching the phone police discovered texts between him and another subject in which he appears to offer to kill someone for $5,000. An interview was conducted. Chattanooga Police responded to the scene. An East Ridge Report will be completed and forwarded to Chattanooga.
23-004928 – 201 Eads Street – Juvenile Assault – Police responded here in reference to an assault with a suspected weapon. One child stated another had a taser which was found in a backpack. He was located at his residence and was turned over to his parents for discipline.
April 24 _ Day Shift
23-004961- 4400 BLK Bennett Road- Disorder w/weapon- Police responded to this location due to a 911 caller stating that there was a juvenile male on scene wearing all grey clothing with a handgun. Police arrived on scene and located a juvenile male in a verbal disorder with staff. The male was detained and searched and not located in possession of a firearm. Police mediated the disorder and all parties were released from the scene.
23-004953- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Auto Theft- A business reported that a recently terminated employee took a 2011 Freightliner Tractor without permission. Around 0300 hours he parked at Wendy’s in East Ridge on this date and drove it to Cincinnati, Ohio. He admitted through text messages that he took the vehicle and “now it belongs to him.” The company is working with Cincinnati PD to obtain the location of the vehicle. The vehicle is entered into NCIC.
23-004957- 1400 BLK Mack Smith- A male subject, semi-homeless, was looking at himself in the mirrored front office doors of a local business at this location. Unbeknownst to him several employees were inside looking out. The staff got concerned when he started to pull his clothes off to look at a rash he had recently acquired on his arms, stomach and private parts. Police located the subject who believed the business was empty when he exposed himself in the reflective glass. The male subject was trespassed from that business and was told to seek other ways to inspect his rash.
23-004950- 4300 BLK Ringgold Rd- Suspicious Person- Police were called to this location on a suspicious male party possibly on narcotics. Police made contact with the man. He was not intoxicated and was transported to a bus stop at his request inside Chattanooga.
No Number Assigned- Spring Creek Rd/N Terrace- Back Other- Police assisted Chattanooga with traffic control while they handled a possibly armed individual on a CARTA bus on Brainerd Road.
Night Shift
23-004971 – Edwards Terrace – Assist EMS – Police were sent originally for a drug overdose. Once on scene it was learned the person in question was intoxicated and transported to a local hospital.
23-004589 – 1507 Karwill Lane – Burglary in Progress – Police responded to this location regarding a burglary. Police made contact with the complainant who advised an unidentified subject kicked in his door and took off running. A short time later police found a suspect matching the description fled and took off on foot. On-call, CID was called but did not respond.
23-004991 – 1401 Reeves Avenue – Suspicious Person – Following a suspicious person call a man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant out of Hamilton County.
23-004598 – 3657 Ringgold Road – SIA – Police conducted a knock and talk at room 60 at the Cascades Motel. Following the interaction a man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant out of Catoosa County.
