March 10 – Day Shift
23-002828- 3700 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest- A man was taken into custody at this address for public intoxication after he was found dancing in the middle of Ringgold Road.
23-002842- 500 BLK S. Seminole Drive- Vandalism- The reporting party told police that an acquaintance of his threw a brick through his front window at this address. Warrants are being sought for vandalism.
23-002846 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest – Police were following up on an investigation regarding a hit-and-run suspect that occurred on February 25, 2023. Officers made contact with the suspect. He was taken into custody for Leaving the scene of an accident.
23-002837 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on Dodge truck for a registration violation. The driver was taken into custody on Hamilton County warrants. He was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
23-002854 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Rd – Disorder/Arrest – Officers responded in reference to a disorder. While speaking with a party on scene, he fled on foot. Police apprehended him a short time later. The man mistakenly believed he had active warrants but did not. He was charged with tampering with evidence, resisting arrest and evading on foot.
23-002829 – 700 BLK Frawley Road – Theft from a Vehicle – The complainant stated sometime during the night, after 2300 hours, person(s) unknown entered her unlocked vehicle and took belongings.
March 10 – Night Shift
23-002866 – 941 Spring Creek Road – Disorder – Officer on duty was requested at this location regarding a patient who may have been assaulted and had property stolen from them. Upon police arrival, it was determined no assault or theft had taken place. All parties involved came to a mutual agreement.
23-002880 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Fight – Reporting party told dispatch seven men were fighting in the parking lot. Upon police arrival, all parties involved fled the scene at a high rate of speed. Police were unable to obtain a clear description of the vehicles the parties fled in.
20-011008 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A wanted party was encountered by Collegedale police officers. He was found to have an arrest warrant through the City of East Ridge for aggravated Domestic assault.
23-002867- 4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Mentally Disturbed- A party advised her friend, a male subject, was possibly having a mental breakdown and left this location heading west. Police searched the area and did not locate the male subject. When talking to the friend she advised he was not having a mental breakdown but was just high. The party advised she made the statement about a mental breakdown so police would not judge him for being high. She also stated she believed someone picked him up and he might not be in the area anymore.
23-002882 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd – Arrest DUI – Police got out with a driver who had passed out at the wheel. Upon doing field sobriety tests, it was determined the man was under the influence.
March 11 – Day Shift
23-002894 – Greenslake Rd at Patten Dr – Evading – A blue compact lifted pickup truck bearing fled from police southbound on Greenslake Rd into GA.
23-002898 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Crash/DUI Arrest – A man was arrested for DUI following a traffic crash he caused leaving the American Legion parking lot.
23-002901, 23-002903, 23-002904 – 6515 Ringgold Rd – Vehicle Burglaries – Unknown suspects broke the windows of a vehicle in the parking lot of 6510 Slater Rd and the windows of two vehicles in the parking lot of Champy’s. Various items of value were taken from all three vehicles. The burglaries occurred between 1400 and 1515. One of the victims reached back out to police at 1600 to alert them her debit card had been used at a Burger King and CVS. She is gathering further information for officers to assist in the identification of the suspects.
23-002897 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Narcotics – Subsequent to a traffic stop, the driver granted consent to search her vehicle. A small amount of suspected methamphetamine was found in the door. She admitted the substance was methamphetamine. A misdemeanor citation was issued.
23-002900- 1900 BLK Close Road- Disorder- Officers responded to this location for a caller saying, “domestic assault” and hanging up. Police spoke with a man and a woman who stated they were just having a verbal argument and nothing physical occurred. The man stated he was just upset and called 911. Police determined nothing criminal occurred.
March 11 – Night Shift
23-002918 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Disorderly Conduct – While on a business check police noticed the manager speaking to a visibly impaired person outside. The manager waived us over for assistance with the problem. Upon speaking to the individual, he stated he was waiting for a ride. He and his friend were picked up by his father.
23-001357 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Following a traffic stop at this location, a man was taken into custody for outstanding East Ridge warrants.
23-002909 – 1000 Bass Pro Drive – Theft – A man was issued a misdemeanor citation at this location for Theft of property (merchandise).
March 12– Day Shift
23-002930 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Public Intoxication – Officers responded to a report of a male subject sleeping on the reporting party’s porch. Police made contact with the subject who was too intoxicated to identify himself. He was taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to Silverdale. Once at Silverdale the party was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was subsequently charged with bringing contraband into the jail. He was later identified.
23-002935 – 800 BLK Summit Ave – Public Intoxication – Police were dispatched to locate a female walking in the street wearing only a bathrobe and acting erratic. Officers located her and immediately recognized she was under the influence of narcotics. When questioned about what she had ingested she disrobed completely and began walking away from police. She was taken into custody and transported to be medically cleared and taken to Silverdale. She was charged with Public Intoxication and Public Indecency.
23-002929- 3200 BLK Castle Avenue- Public Intoxication – Officers were called to this location for a suspicious person who was attempting to open car doors and walking around in residents’ yards. The man was taken into custody at this location for public intoxication.
23-002943 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI Arrest – Police observed a motorist at the gas station throw a wine bottle out of the vehicle and turn east onto Ringgold Rd. The vehicle was followed and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver was found to be intoxicated and uncooperative with police. She was taken into custody for DUI 3rd Offense, Driving on Suspended 2nd Offense, and Littering. In addition she had an active Hamilton County arrest warrant for DUI.
March 12 – Night Shift
23-002959 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Burglar Alarm – Following the activation of a burglar alarm, police made contact with four men inside. Police determined the men were a part of the cleaning crew.
23-002958 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – Police served multiple warrants on a a party while he was already incarcerated in jail.
23-002950 – 5300 BLK Marion Avenue – Theft of Property – Police responded in reference to a theft that occurred while the owner was on vacation. She stated her ex-boyfriend was at the location when she left but was supposed to move out. Taken from the residence was a car title, three wedding-type rings, and an iPhone.
23-002953 – 1100 BLK McBrien Road – Disorder – Police responded to a disorder at the residence between an intoxicated male and female. It was determined to be verbal only.
23-002957 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI – Police noticed a car drive through the median and continue into the flow of oncoming traffic. A man was taken into custody for driving under the influence, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, and reckless driving.
